Harper's Kindergarten classes were supposed to go on a field trip to the Frank Buck Zoo last week. The rain has been so crazy that the zoo was temporarily closed due to flooding. So since they couldn't go to the zoo, their super fun teachers came up with a little replacement field trip day for them. They bused the kids over to Marcus High School and got to eat their lunch on the football field. Then they had sno cones, played field day games, played soccer in the indoor complex. It wasn't the zoo - but they still had fun!
When they got back to school they had the "snake man" come show them some cool snakes and lizzards.
