Evening at the Park

One evening this past week, Jeff was actually home during daylight hours so we headed to the park after dinner.

What's wrong with this picture?

She insisted on walking all the way home and pushing the stroller.

Happy Birthday Kate

Saturday morning we celebrated Kate's birthday at Jumpstreet, an indoor trampoline park in Plano. This was the perfect location for our energetic three year olds.  Lots of jumping, sliding, running, eating and more.

I love Anna's face here - she's saying - "Get me out of here!"

The birthday girl and her mom, Janet

Anna, Kate & Harper on the tea cup ride.  The grandparents kept feeding quarters into it so it would spin around.

They loved these huge trampolines.

Joanna teaching all of them how to climb up the sides and then slide down

Miss Harper was pretty excited about the cupcakes.  Looks like she is "helping" Kate blow out her candles.

Anna only eats the icing. Harper devoured the whole thing in 2.5 seconds.
More sliding

Homecoming

Friday night our Titans played at home and whipped up on the R.L. Turner Lions and won the game 52-7.  CHS has two home fields that they share with the other Frisco high schools.  We play half of our home games at Pizza Hut Park (professional soccer team's stadium) and the other half at Frisco Memorial. I prefer Pizza Hut Park because it is a much nicer stadium, you have your own chairs with backs on them and they have instant replay on the jumbotron. This homecoming game was at Memorial stadium and it was packed.  It was challenging getting into stadium with both kids and then hiking up to the top by the press box.  Of course as soon as we made it to the top, Harper said that she had to go potty.  My new friend Staci helped me so much with both kids.  Her hubby is a new football & baseball coach with Jeff.

At half time the score was 45-0.  I happened to notice some of the coaches standing outside of the locker room during half time so I grabbed the kids and hiked down there to see daddy for a few minutes.  I guess they didn't have much to say to the kids considering the score.
It was a nice treat to get to see daddy at half time.

I love this pic of Jeff and the kids.

Showing off her mum.  Anytime someone would say "who is on your button?" she would say "It's my daddy. He is a coach. He is on the field."  She was so proud to wear it.

Because we were up by 45 points at half time we decided to call it a night and head home.

Go Titans! 4-0 so far.

Thursday Night Lights - Homecoming Edition

Last week was Homecoming at CHS. Thursday night we headed to the school to cheer on the Freshman Titans. They won 59-0!

Yes that is a mum with Jeff's face on it.  The booster club had them made for the coaches kids.

My little rugrats

Harper loves bringing "Molly" the cheerleader bear to all of the games with her.

A quick half time hug from daddy.

Brody was very interested in the turf field.

Clearly they were more interested in the football game going on behind them.

This series of pics cracks me up...

Right before the take down...

Go Titans!

11 Months Old - Brody

This post is a little late - but Brody turned 11 months old on the 18th. We can't believe that you are going to be ONE years old in a few short weeks.

You still are a great sleeper at night.  Down by 6:30 - 7 and sleeps for 12 hours!
Still take two naps a day
Still nursing 4 times per day but we (ok I) am counting down the days until you get to have milk from a sippy cup!
You started crawling this month and haven't stopped since.  You are so fast and get into everything!
You have three teeth and two more on the way.
You wear 12 and 18 month clothing.
You eat most everything but if you don't like it or are full then you just start throwing it on the ground. You can already out eat Harper.
You love your big sister.  When you wake up, the first thing you do is look down and around for Harper!
You love being outside and will swing for as long as I will push you.

You "talk" a lot but the only word that we can make out is still dada!  I'm really working on mama.

You have the funniest facial expressions.
You can be REALLY loud when you want attention.

We love you sweet baby boy and can't believe time is flying by so quickly.
And just for fun - here is Harper at 11 months old.
