More Bubbles

The big kids took bubble baths again last night to warm up after playing in the snow. 

Walker is still not a fan of the bubble bath.  Good thing - because I don' think that I could manage all three of them in the bath tub at the same time. I was already pretty wet after this experience. 

Snow Ice Cream

The kids collected snow outside and Mimi helped them make snow ice cream out of it.  

They loved it!

A Real Snow Day

This week has been crazy in the weather department.  Kids went to school like normal today.  Then it started snowing....and kept snowing. School released early. Papa & Mimi were in town so they picked both of the kids up before lunch. It snowed 3 inches in Flower Mound which is a lot for Texas standards.  The kids actually got out and enjoyed playing in it for a while.  Papa of course made a sled out of a shovel and a cardboard box!

Tuesday school was cancelled again because the roads were bad.  Wednesday morning it started snowing again but school was back in session.  By that afternoon the sun was out and it was 55 degrees.  We needed out of the house after being iced in for 48 hours so we headed to a new park that we found.

He is kind of demanding these days.  Always pointing at where he wants me to go.  

Bubble Baths

After playing out in the snow they were freezing so we decided to warm up with a long bubble bath.  This was a special treat for them and they loved it. 

Iced In

Monday we were iced in.  School was cancelled.  It wasn't fun snow to play in.  It was sleet and ice.  Daddy was home from school also so we tagged teamed all day with the kids.
