Happy Birthday Brody!

How is our middle man already 7 years old?!?

Brody's birthday fell on a school morning so we started with birthday pancakes and presents all before school.

He got a new scooter. Now he doesn't have to ride his sister's pink one.

Traditional birthday milkshake at school.

Daddy came in during morning story time and got to surprise Brody and read to his class.

He got to pick dinner and we went to Dickie's his fav BBQ place.

The next day I took three of his friends to see the Lego Ninjago movie.  We called this his birthday party. Our house was completely in boxes because we were moving the next week.

We had the whole theater to ourselves.

Homecoming and More Baseball

Marcus hosts a Homecoming carnival every year that the kids enjoy attending.  The baseball team hosts a booth that is always fun.

Brody had a few more baseball games before his season was over.

We enjoyed cousin time at the park in Southlake.

The little brothers cheering on the big brothers.

Brody's fan club at his last game

We are thankful for his team and the 4 seasons that we have been able to play together.

MCA Field Day

My kids always look forward to field day at school.  This is like old fashioned field day on steroids complete with water slides, an inflatable obstacle course and a dunk tank.
First up was Brody and his class.
Getting ready for the water section
Then big sister was up next with her class.
Tug of war - they won the first round but lost in the finals.

Ready to rock the relay race

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Walker is playing Tball for the first time this Fall.  He has games on Monday nights and Saturdays.  Brody is playing again on the 7U Tigers team and has games on Tuesday nights and Saturdays  We have spent lots and lots of time at the baseball field this month.

Walker and his best buddy Cohen

Walker's coach is wonderful with the kids and does a great job of teaching them the game and making it fun.

We have had several Saturday games that overlap to Jeff and I have had to divide and conquer between the across town fields.

Four year olds are so cute in their little white baseball pants

Walker got the game ball

Jeff's college roommate, Joshua, came into town and we hit up a Rangers game with him.

It was Walker's first time to a game.
