Lately...

Harper found this hat in her closet.  She thought that it was so fun to weat it.  I know it doesn't match but she looks cute in it.

She wanted to help me sweep the floors.  I think I need to get her a smaller broom that is just her size.

Harper also found this little teddy bear back pack in her closet.  She came out of her room wearing it and wanted me to help her snap the buckles. First I put it on her front so she could see the bear then I put it on her back.

A little self portrait of us and the bear.

More snacks please....

Going shopping with her little bear.

She loves to say cheese for the camera!

Is Spring here to stay?

I can't believe that there was 8 inches of snow on the ground less than 48 hours ago!!  This weather is crazy.  Today it was 75 degrees and beautiful!  Hopefully Spring is here to stay.  Harper and I met Ashley, Janet, and Austin at The Village of Allen for some play time this afternoon.

Harper is really into giving hugs these days.  Here she is going in for a hug with Anna.

Party for Grandmommy

Last week we got together with my Grandmommy to celebrate her birthday.  She and Harper had the best time playing together. Harper's GREAT Grandmommy reading to her.

Playtime

Papa & Mimi gave Harper this tea set for Christmas.  She has just recently started to set things out and have little tea parties.  It's so cute! She did this without any help from me.

Harper loves boxes.  This huge diaper box provided lots of entertainment.
It's the little things in life...

First Day of Spring with snow??

Thursday and Friday of this week the temperature was in the 70's. Yesterday was the first day of Spring and today we woke up to 6 inches of snow. The weather this winter has been crazy! I think we have had record snow fall this winter. She woke up this morning saying "snow, snow, snow."  We bundled her up and headed outside. She still wasn't a big fan of the snow.

Trying to walk in daddy's boots after we came in from playing in the snow.
A cute video of Harper trying to walk in daddy's boots.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Happy St. Patty's Day to all.  To celebrate the day we enjoyed a little playdate over at Pierce's house this morning.  The kids had a great time playing outside.  Here's Harper, Kate, and Anna enjoying their wagon ride.

Another pretty day at the ballpark

Jeff's team had another tournament this weekend.  The weather was pretty so Harper and I took in a few of the games.  She discovered all of the peanut shells on the ground and decided that she would try to eat them.
Go Titans!
Entertaining the crowd by dancing at the game.

I think she likes it

Harper and I got Chick-fil-A on Friday night because Jeff was busy with Baseball games.  I think she likes dipping the chicken into the sauce - what do you think?
She loves her condiments just like her mommy.

Fun times at the Doctor

I'm a little late in posting this.  I can't believe that Harper is 18 months old already!! We went to her 18 month check up and she did great.  We had to wait in the small exam room for over an hour so she was going pretty stir crazy! Here's some funny video clips of us waiting "patiently".

Harper's 18-month stats:
Weight - 27.9 lbs. - 90%
Height - 34.5 in. - 95%
Head - 19 in. - 90%
She is growing like a little weed and is staying healthy.  It's so much fun to be this little girls mommy!
Checking herself out in the mirror.
I finally gave in and let her get off the exam table.  I didn't want her running around the room barefoot so I put her shoes and socks on.  She does look a little ridiculous though!

Our Little Rocker

Saturday evening we went over to my Aunt & Uncle's house and had a birthday dinner for my mom.  After dinner, my cousin Kevin had a little jam session with Harper on the guitar.  My dad helped Harper a little.

"Whew - playing the guitar is pretty exhausting!"
