79 degrees!

We are loving the weather this week! Another 79 degree day = afternoon at the park.
Today we took our neighbor, Hope, to play with Harper.

75 degrees in January

Yesterday it was 75 degrees....in January!  Yes please!  We headed to our favorite park after school to play before dinner. We managed to get there without Walker's shoes.  Good thing that the park is a rubber surface!

"Mommy....sit!"

4 tooth and Trains

Harper lost her 4 tooth on Sunday night.  It was hanging by a string and wouldn't let me pull it.  She was eating dinner and bit into something and it just fell out.  She spit it out and that was that.
On Monday, I picked up Brody from school and we had 45 minutes to kill before getting Harper.  We played at the park next door to Harper's school.  At one point he heard a train horn and RAN out of the park to see the train. He is infatuated with them right now!  We were so close to the train.  The conductor waved and blew the train whistle / horn several times.  He was in heaven.
Waiting for Harper to get out of school.

Saturday at the Park

By Saturday the weather was nice so we headed to another park after naps.

Brody and his buddy Breken

Just one of the many faces of Walker

He would not put down his snack cup or his sippy.  He insisted on carrying them around the entire time at the park.  He perfected climbing the ladder with both in hand.

When we got back from the park we continued our little outdoor play time out in our cul de sac with the neighbors.  Jackie our neighbor wanted a pic with all of the kids. We were missing 2 from next door  There are 9 kids between 4 houses.  We have so much fun on nice weather days.

Skate Night

Harper's school had a skate night last week so she and I made it a girls night out.  She enjoyed skating with her friends.  I was skating with her and at one point she said "mom can you not skate by me." Ouch.
With her buddy Taylor

It was a Disney themed night. Mrs. Mattingly rocks!

More kinder friends
Fun date night with my girl

Tunnels

The weather last week was a cold and we were cooped up inside for a few days straight.
We had a "warmer" afternoon and we headed outside and hit the trails.
Brody loves tunnels and we had fun going through this one several times in a row.
The trail system has these exercise stations all along the way that Brody insists on stopping at.

MLK Day at the Zoo

Monday was a holiday so the kids and Jeff were off from school. It was 70 degrees and gorgeous weather.  We decided to take the kids down to the Dallas Zoo. Our friends the Millers joined us...along with 11,000 other people that day.  It was crazy crowded.  We opted to purchase a one year membership so looking forward to coming back more often.

First up was the carousel while we waited for our friends.
Harper & Sloane - 2 peas in a pod

Our 3 kids are almost the exact same ages as the Miller kids.
He was fascinated with all of the animals.
Penguins!

I think that the daddy's had the easy kids.  At least they were contained in the stroller.

Walker & Boston
Brody and Owen are born 3 days apart from each other.
We are looking forward to going back again soon.
