Harper Joy is Home

Harper Joy has turned our world upside down. We can't believe how quickly we have fallen in love with our little girl.

My parents and grandparents were at the hospital to keep us company while I was in labor. They couldn't wait to meet Harper.

My parents, Tom & Debbi, or Papa and Mimi.

Harper keeps her eyes closed most of the time. This was a rare moment that we caught them wide open.

Harper with her Great Grandaddy.

What's wrong with this picture? Daddy doesn't have anything that you want to eat.

Baylor Hospital in Frisco was Awesome! The nurses were wonderful and took such great care of us. One of their neat traditions is a "Going Home - Steak & Lobster Celebration Dinner."

Harper already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.

We got to go home from the hospital on Saturday evening. Harper didn't know what to think of her new car seat and ride home.

Home sweet Home!!

Our beautiful Harper Joy.

Well, Harper is now 20 hours old. We are so excited that she is a part of our family now. She is just beautiful! We are all tired but hanging in there. Here are a few pics from her first few hours...
Harper Joy was 8 lbs. and 21 inches long. Look at those long legs. Looks like a runner to me.

August 28th?

We went to the Doctor today for my 39 week check up and I'm making a little progress. I'm dilated to a 2 now! We went ahead and scheduled an induction for Thursday, August 28th. We were told to arrive at the hospital at 7:30am and then they would start the process. So the 28th we will get to meet her daughter unless she decides to come between now and then on her own. Please pray for these last few days that I can relax and get some sleep! I've been very anxious these last few weeks and so excited to meet her!!

Jeff starts school on Monday and has games on Wednesday night and Friday night of next week. If all goes as scheduled, Baby Sherman will make her arrival between game days.

Testing my video uploading skills

This evening I've been playing with my video camera. I wanted to make sure that I knew how to post video on to the blog before Baby Sherman arrived. Here's a little test video for you to enjoy. This was the scene at my Parent's house on Christmas Morning when we announced that I was pregnant! Seems like just yesterday that we were sharing our good news - and now Baby Sherman is due in less than 12 days!
