State Fair

We made a last minute decision to go to the State Fair on Sunday while my parents were in town for Brody's birthday.  It was beautiful weather and the last day of the fair so the crowds were out!

Harper had a few more tickets left at the end of the day so she choose to ride this ride.

Birthday Party Round #2

After our cold morning at the park we came home for naps and then presents.  Brody takes a while to wake up after his nap so it took him a while to warm up to the idea of opening presents in front of everyone.  He insisted that Harper open them for him.  It was so funny.  After about 5 presents, he realized that it was more fun for him if he opened them himself.

Party at the Park

We celebrated Brody's birthday with a party at a fun park in town. I prayed all week for the rain to stay away but didn't think to pray for warm temps.  A cold front blew in Friday night and the temps were in the low 40's at 10 a.m. on Saturday. It was pretty chilly but ended up being a great day at the park.  I did a very simple Cars theme with sack lunches and cupcakes for all of the kids.



  

  
Rebekah's boyfriend, Johann, gets the prize for traveling the farthest to come to the party.  He came all the way from Germany.
