Getting Our Money's Worth

We are definitely getting our money's worth out of our Dallas Zoo membership.  Tuesday I packed up the boys and we headed town with Emily and her two boys, Drew & Kyle.  We also met my cousin Crystal with her two boys, Levi & Isaiah. We had 6 boys 5 years old and younger.  They were busy but we had Fun!  They are just setting up a new lego exhibit.  So far they have 3 sculptures there.  This polar bear and her cubs was made up of 170,000 legos! In January they will have 15 total.  The boys thought they were pretty cool.

Kids Kastle Park

Kids Kastle park is right next door to Harper's school.  The kids often ask to go there (like every day).  After school, we typically head back home for snacks and getting on with our afternoon.  But I decided to be a "Yes mom" and let them play until their little hearts were content.

Boys will be boys

He said "Look Mom - I'm spiderman".

Zac Brown Band

Jeff and I got tickets at the last minute to go to the Zac Brown Band Concert in Dallas with some friends.  It was totally impromptu and so fun!  We haven't been to a concert in forever.

Just keeping it real.  This was the best pic that I got after church.

Gorgeous weather for afternoon bike rides

Crazy hair don't care.

My afternoons are typically pretty chaotic.  Here's an example of Harper trying to do homework, Brody entertaining himself with knights and Walker being Walker.

Another night of Cross County Practice

This costume from the dollar store has been a big hit around here.

Happy Halloween

Halloween fell on a Saturday this year so Jeff was able to be around to participate in the fun. His job has always been the pumpkin carving because I don't like the slimy inside.

All ready to go Trick or Treating.  Had to stop over at Ariana's house first.

We went over to Karyn's neighborhood so the kids could all Trick or Treat together.  We had quite the crew.

A few houses went all out in the decor department

We might have trick or treated too long considering that the kids could barely carry their bags by the end of the night.  There were several King Sized candy bars in that mix.  Our dentist office has a candy buy back program and the kids made $20 off of their 10 lbs. of candy!
