Happy Birthday Pierce

Pierce turned two yesterday and we helped him celebrate with a "yellow submarine" swimming party.  Harper had a great time swimming with daddy while Brody and I hung out on the pool deck and took pics.

Harper talking to Pierce the birthday boy.

She loved jumping off this platform

Kate and Harper went down this slide at least 25 times!

She was not a fan of the big boat.

Pierce was not too excited when we all started singing Happy Birthday to him. I think he was a little overwhelmed.

Enjoying her cupcake.

Thanks for letting us celebrate with you.

Halloween Play Date

This morning we got together with several friends to have a little Halloween costume play date. We wanted an excuse to get all of the kids in costumes. Here's our little group minus Brody and Brynlee who were inside napping.

Harper the Ladybug, Brady the Cowboy, Graham & Anna as Raggedy Ann & Andy, Kate as Abby, Conner & Mackenzie as Boots & Dora
We tried to do a group pic with Brody and Brynlee who are both just a few weeks old, but Harper wasn't too keen on holding Brody.  I had to rescue him pretty quick from his big sister.

Good thing she had a bib on or the costume might have been ruined for Sunday.

Even ladybugs need juice breaks

Graham and Conner both trying to use the same walker

Graham not to excited about his hug from big sis
She figured out how to swing on her tummy and she would say "Harper fly away! Harper fly away!"
Brody slept through the entire party. I wasn't going to dress him up but I remembered that I had this pumpkin costume from Harper.  It's a little big because it is size 3 months - but oh well.

Brody's First Football Game

My mom came into town this afternoon to visit Harper and Brody.  We decided to take the kids to Jeff's football game tonight.

Brody slept straight through his first football game.

My mom and Cindy.  Her hubby is a coach also.

Too Cute

My talented friend Sarah made this adorable dress for Harper! I thought it was appropriate to wear it today for Halloween. Here she is all ready to go to school.

Start saving now?

I think we might have a little thumb sucker on our hands! We should probably start saving now for the Orthodontist bills.

Favorite Accessory

Harper loves these sunglasses.  She takes them everywhere.  If we get in the car and she doesn't have them with her, most likely a small meltdown is on the way.

When we got home from church today, Harper played in this bath tub for about 30 minutes.  There are several things that we have taken out of the garage for Brody that Harper has been very curious about.

This afternoon I decided to load the kids up in the stroller and walk to the grocery store.  It was pretty weather and I only needed a few things.  I think it was faster to walk there than load both kids up in the car.

She wakes up in the morning wanting her sunglasses and goes to sleep at night with them!

Visitors

We had a fun first weekend at home with lots of visitors to meet Brody.
My dad and Jeff watched the Texas football game on Saturday afternoon.  Too bad they lost again!

Brody's "My First Texas T-Shirt!" I need to get my children some Baylor gear quick before they get brainwashed by their Papa.

Jeff's Grannie Sherman came for a visit on Saturday evening.  She lives in Cleburne so Bill went to pick her up and bring her to meet her newest Great Grandson.

Sunday afternoon my cousin Megan and her husband David came by for a visit.  They live in Austin but were up in Dallas this weekend for a wedding.

Thanks to sweet friends like Brooke and Olivia Kate for bringing us a yummy dinner last night!
