April Week 1

The kids and I try to stay busy in the afternoons.
We went swimming at the Christianson's house on a random Tuesday after school. 

Wednesday was Karyn's birthday and her hubby was out of town.  Justine hosted a fun playdate for all the kids topped off by dinner and birthday cake.  

Love these sweet new friends that the Lord has brought into my life.

Thursday night we managed to pull off a Surprise birthday dinner with all the girls for Karyn. Patio dinning at Frescos was so fun.  

Just another Saturday at the ballpark

After getting the kids to bed super late on Friday night after Jeff's game we woke up bright and early for a 9 am T Ball game.  The team played well and Brody event managed to get the game ball! In the 2nd inning Brody had a great hit and was so cute with his little victory dance / fist pump once he got to 1st base.

We came home to change from our Tigers gear back into our Marcus gear for daddies second game of the weekend.

Friday Night Lights

The first weekend of April we had back to back Friday / Saturday baseball games.  I took all of the kids on Friday to the game and they miraculously made it through the entire game.

Lots of snacks kept these boys going

Somewhere under than blanket is an ipad that kept them going until 10:15 when the game was finally over.  

Finishing up March

A lot happened in March. Here are a few last photos from my phone to finish it up.

This one was supposed to be asleep and was up way past his bedtime. But at least he was getting some baseball lessons and QT with daddy.

Easter Sunday

After the Spring Chicken Fest at our church, we headed home for a yummy lunch with my parents and grandparents. Mom picked up Nothing Bundt Cakes that were delish! Kids dyed Easter Eggs and we played at the park. 

Easter Sunday morning the kids got up and hunted a few Easter Eggs and enjoyed some of their candy before church.

3rd Annual Spring Chicken Fest

Our church put on a great family event on Saturday before Easter.  The day started out with a 5K run which Jeff and I both did.  Then Harper did the 1 Mile fun run and insisted that I run again with her.

We chased the chicken (aka Kenny) and won.  

Harper's buddy Emerson did the run with her also. 

Next up was the egg hunt for Walker's age group.  

Brody and Daddy coaching Walker to run all the way through the field of eggs and then start from the back and work forward.  He took their advice and ran to the end!

Then we waited "patiently" for the helicopter to drop the eggs for the big kids.
