Round 2 of the play offs was this past weekend. We faced the Coppell Cowboys in a best of 3 series. With all of the rain that has happened this month, the games were moved down to Quick Trip Park in Grand Prairie because they have a turf field. Game one was played at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Thankfully this minor league stadium had a play ground for the kids to play on!
Quick Starbucks run with Grandad Sherman when the game was delayed.
Unfortunately we lost the first game 2-0. We had to go back on Saturday morning for a 9 a.m. game 2. Jeff's cousin, Lacey, and her family all drove up to watch this series. Was fun for my kids to play with their 2nd cousins at the ball park.
Jeff's team fought hard but was not able to overcome the Cowboys this time. They lost game two 5-2. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the last game of the season.
I'm so proud of Jeff and his leadership on and off the field. He is a role model for his boys. I love watching him live out his passion. End of the season is always bitter sweet but we are kind of excited to have daddy home a little more.
