Operation Big Girl Bed

With Brody set to make his arrival at the end of October, we needed to move Harper to her big girl bed and new room.  We are going to paint Harper's current nursery and make it Brody's room. We have been working on Harper's big girl room for a while and have finally finished up everything.  Last night was the first night that we decided to move her from her crib to her day bed. I had no idea if she would actually stay in the bed all night.

We kept her up a little later than normal last night just to make sure she was really tired! We laid her down and she acted like nothing was different. We went in several times to check on her before we went to bed and all was quiet! We told her several times that when she woke up in the morning to stay in bed and we would come get her.

So about 7:15 this morning I heard "Mommy Mommy" on the monitor.  I went in to find her still cuddled up under her covers. She looked like such a big girl!!

She did great during her first night in her big bed!

She took a great nap after church this afternoon also.  I hope that day #2 of operation big girl bed is successful as day #1!
