Christmas Morning 2009

We made it to Paris in time for a yummy Christmas Eve dinner.  My parents had a full house and it was so fun to have everyone home.  Harper woke up at 7am ready to open presents.  This year was such a difference from last year.  Harper enjoyed opening presents and helping everyone else.

They make toys so hard to get into these days.  Papa had to use the electric screwdriver to open up one of Harper's new presents.

Trying to figure out her new Disney Princess cash register.

Her new leopard from Grandma Sherman.  It purrs and looks like the real thing.

Aunt Beka helping open Harper's presents.

Aunt Beka gave Harper several Spanish / English books.  Aunt Beka is leaving for Spain soon.  She will be studying in Bilbao for the Spring semester.  I think she expects Harper to be speaking Spanish when she returns in May.

Looking forward to watching my new movies with Papa.

My dad is the king of wrapping presents in unique ways.  He wrapped a picture of our new big screen TV in several layers of different clues in an old shoe box.  It was fun to open it and read the clues and try to figure it out.  The TV is waiting for us at my Aunt's house in Dallas.  We can't wait to go pick it up and start watching it.  For the last 3 years we have not had cable. We just used bunny ears antenna and watched the 4 local stations that we could get in Wylie.  When we moved to McKinney I gave in and got Direct TV. We will now have quite the upgraded TV viewing with our new HD TV.

Grandma Jane got a big screen TV as well.  What else do you get a 101 year old woman?

Harper made Mimi a special potholder with her handprint on it.

Opening more presents

Checking out Daddy's new electric drill.

Having a Tea Party with Papa and her new pink princess tea set.

Merry Christmas everyone!
