Daddy

We never really need an excuse around here to get donuts on a Saturday morning but this time it was to celebrate having daddy home a little more (i.e. end of baseball season)

Are you sure that I ate them all?

The kids love being outside and when daddy is outside WITHOUT them they aren't very happy...so mowing was a team effort.

Yeah for daddy being home!

End of Season

Our Titan baseball team had a phenomenal season advancing to the Regional Quarter finals for the first time in school history.  Sad to see the season over but glad to have daddy back.

Failed attempt at family photo prior to game.

Go Titans!

I wish I had a video of him dancing around and clapping.  He loves the "walk up" music for each player.

I don't have any pics of Harper because she usually finds a few friends and plays with next to the bleachers.  Thank goodness for Granddad Sherman that comes to all of the games and helps me wrangle kids.

Summer Time Fun

Summer is here. The temps are already in the mid 90's and it's only going to get hotter...a.lot.hotter.  Oh well, what better way to beat the heat then a good ole kiddie pool and slip n slide.  The kids enjoyed playing with Reese and Collin.

"Hey Collin, this pool water tastes pretty good - you should try it."

Best shot of all 4 in the pool.  Yes Reese has on rain boots.

Harper loves bubbles!  I have to figure out a better system for doing bubbles at home because usually Brody  grabs the container and ends up dumping it all over himself or the ground.

Home made pizzas!

Last Day of School

Thursday was the kids last day of mother's day out for the year. Sad. day.
We have been so blessed by their teachers.  I know that they are well taken care of and loved on each day.  I chased them around the front yard with a camera for a few minutes and this was the best that I got.  I needed to document their last day of school for 2012.

Little Stinker!

Here was the first day of school back in September.

Summer here we come!

Water Day at School

Harper had a fun water day planned for her last week of school.  They had all sorts of fun water toys for the kids to play with.  Parents were invited to come watch some of the action.

Cleaning her cozy coupe.

"We" sure are missing school already!

Ping Pong with Papa

Mother's Day weekend we got together at my Aunt & Uncle's home in Plano for a yummy dinner with family.  Papa entertained the kids with the ping pong table. They had fun.

Yes - ping pong is a contact sport.

All of the women. We missed you Carol!

Brody 18 Months

18 months already?  Where has the time gone? Brody is our precious baby boy who is not so much a baby anymore.  He is "all boy", loves his big sister, is into every.thing, loves being outside, and is on.the.go.

He loves books. He will sit with a pile of books and look through the pages and point out the different things that he recognizes on the pages. He still won't sit on my lap for a whole book but we are working on it.

Brody is into everything. He is always climbing up on things like the kitchen table, piano, coffee table, etc.  If he isn't climbing he is running around following his big sister.

Brody has such a sweet disposition 95% of the time but can throw a quick tantrum at the drop of a hat.

Brody's 18 month stats:
Weight - 24.4 lbs - 40%
Height - 32 in. - 60%
Head - 19 in. - 80%
He was not happy about the 3 shots that he had to get but nothing that a yummy sucker can't heal quickly.

And just for fun here is the post from when Harper was 18 months old.  Looks like we might have been in the same exam room at the Dr. office. I can see some of the same mannerisms between the two.
