Some Cousin Time

We were able to squeeze in a quick visit with Uncle Bill, Aunt Rhonda & Rylee before we left for Paris for Thanksgiving.

These two are only 6 months apart.

Nine Kids

Our dear friends the Halls moved out to West Texas this summer.  They were in town for Thanksgiving and we got to visit with them.  We had the Hamilton girls over as well for a fun night of catching up.

Can't believe that all 9 of these kids are ours.  All of our kids are about the same ages and we were all pregnant together and have done life with each other since our oldest girls were just babies.

These girls had so much fun playing.  Harper sure does miss her good buddies!

Pre Thanksgiving

Jeff was off the whole week of Thanksgiving so we were able to enjoy some fun family time.
Our weekend kicked off with celebrating Isaiah's first birthday.  Attempt at a cousin pic.

We decided to go ahead and put up the Christmas tree before we left for Paris.  Seemed strange putting up tree before Thanksgiving but it worked out ok.

This little mister only managed to break 3 ornaments while decorating.

At least they are all looking at the camera.

Grannie Sherman and Grandad spent a few days with us. We enjoyed cookie decorating, eating out and just hanging out.

Walker still trying to decide if he likes eating.

Alexa's Creepy Critters Party

Alexa is one of Harper's friends from school. They are in the same class together.  Alexa had a creepy critter birthday party complete with lots of different animals to touch and hold. Let's just say I wasn't interested in any of these animals.  Yuck!

Bull Frogs

Lizards

When the snakes first came out Emmerson and Harper decided that the stairs looked like the best place to be instead of down on the floor.

After they saw their friends holding the snakes they were ready to try also.

She is definitely braver than I am.

Life

Life seems so busy at times and sometimes pretty chaotic.  The old saying goes - The days creep by and the years fly by. I'm trying to take time to enjoy the little things that fill our days.
Like picnics with friends in the backyard.

Brody using the camera phone to capture our skinny jean and boot day.

This tubby can't sit up yet on his own so we use the laundry basket as assistance during bath time.

Taking friends home from school with us for an afternoon of play time.

Celebrating a big Baylor football win with daddy!

I pray that I can savor these sweet moments in the midst of the chaos of having three little ones.

Fun Times with Papa

My parents have enjoyed spending several weekends with us lately.  My Dad and I took the kids to a little Veteran's Day event in Grapevine.

Brody loves firetrucks!

Then we spent a few hours at the park! We enjoyed the pretty weather.
