Since We've Been Home

Walker is now one week old and we are settling into life as a family of five! My parents were here all weekend and were a huge help.
Walker had a visit with his local pediatrician on Wednesday.

Marcie made us this adorable door hanger for the hospital.

We've enjoyed lots of snuggle time.

Our neighbor, Ariana, came to visit and brought us a yummy meal.

My dear friend Amanda came to meet Walker and brought us a yummy meal also.  Noelle was out of town so Harper missed having her to play with.  Can't believe that we have 5 kids between the two of us!

One of Jeff's baseball families gave us this fun bounce house for the back yard. The kids love it. I send them out each evening to burn off any remaining energy they have cooped up before bedtime.

We are working on personal space!  As in - don't get in the babies face every second that you are around him.  I have a feeling that I'm going to be playing defense for a while with the two bigs.

We are so blessed!

Walker Day Two & Going Home

Walker did great in the hospital.  My mom brought kids back up on Tuesday afternoon for a little while.  They were really excited to see Walker again.

Love these photos of the boys.

I can't believe that I have two BOYS!

I'm sure that these two will get into lots of mischief someday soon.

We have to watch Mr. Brody pretty carefully.  When he is holding him he will just all of a sudden say "All Done - I don't want him anymore" and you have to be ready to catch Walker before Brody just drops him.

Jeff's favorite part of the hospital stay is the Steak & Lobster celebration dinner that you get the night before you go home.  Too bad I don't eat steak or lobster.

Several sweet friends came up to the hospital to meet Walker.

All packed up and ready to go home.

The kids were SO EXCITED for us to be home.

Walker's Birthday

June 3rd, 2013
Walker Lee Sherman's Birthday
We were anxiously awaiting this day for many months.  I was scheduled for an induction just like I was with Harper & Brody.  I made it to the end of baseball season without having a baby so Jeff was pretty excited. We left for the hospital at 6:30 am and of course both kids were already awake and excited to see us off.

I checked into Baylor Frisco and they started my Pitocin around 9 a.m. I got my epidural around noon and then my Doctor broke my water at about 12:45.  I quickly went from 3 cm dilated to 10 cm. My family was all hanging out in the room and then all of a sudden my nurse said "We are going to have this baby."

My Dr. made it just in time. I pushed three times and Walker Lee was born.

Proud Daddy

My parents & grandparents were at the hospital when he was born.  Jeff's dad was keeping Harper & Brody at our house and then brought the kids up that evening to meet Walker.  My sister, Rebekah, was also able to come visit on Monday.

Mimi and her 3rd Grandchild.

Grandad Sherman
He wasn't a fan of his first bath at the beginning but then he calmed down.

All clean

I'm so blessed to be the mommy to these THREE!

Harper really LOVES Walker.  She loves to hug, kiss and hold him.

Team Sherman - Party of FIVE!

Of course Papa had to give him his first check up. He gave Walker the all clear.

My mom stayed at our house with Harper & Brody while we were in the Hospital. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the snuggle time with this little man.

Splash Day, Cousins, & Ice Cream

Baseball Season is now over.  I'm so proud of Jeff for leading his Marcus Marauders all the way to the Regional Semi Finals.  They lost to Southlake in the 4th round of the playoffs.  This is an incredible way to start his coaching career at Marcus.  Oh and he also broke the school record for number of wins by FIVE games.  I'm just a little proud of him. Now that baseball season is over it's time to get ready for Mr. Walker to make his arrival.
Here are some pics from the past few weeks.
We survived Harper's first soccer season.

We enjoyed a Cutrell family get together with all of the cousins and grand kids. Loved meeting Isaiah for the first time.

The kids had splash day at school.  I didn't get any pics of Harper but she loved the day in the sun and water.

We celebrated a successful season at the Baseball Banquet.

Aunt Rhonda and Rylee were in town for the week. We enjoyed visiting with them while they were here.

Cousins - Brody (2.5), Harper (4.5) Rylee (5 months)

Had a fun afternoon with old friends. We met Summer, Reese & Collin at Sonic for ice cream and play time.  Yes - this Sonic has a play ground.  We don't see these sweet friends enough any more because they live in Allen.

The kids spent last weekend in Paris with Mimi & Papa. Jeff and I enjoyed sleeping in and relaxing before the baby comes. I'm set to be induced on Monday, June 3rd unless I go into labor before then.
