Brody 18 Months
18 months already? Where has the time gone? Brody is our precious baby boy who is not so much a baby anymore. He is "all boy", loves his big sister, is into every.thing, loves being outside, and is on.the.go.

He loves books. He will sit with a pile of books and look through the pages and point out the different things that he recognizes on the pages. He still won't sit on my lap for a whole book but we are working on it.

Brody is into everything. He is always climbing up on things like the kitchen table, piano, coffee table, etc. If he isn't climbing he is running around following his big sister.

Brody has such a sweet disposition 95% of the time but can throw a quick tantrum at the drop of a hat.

Brody's 18 month stats:
Weight - 24.4 lbs - 40%
Height - 32 in. - 60%
Head - 19 in. - 80%
He was not happy about the 3 shots that he had to get but nothing that a yummy sucker can't heal quickly.

And just for fun here is the post from when Harper was 18 months old. Looks like we might have been in the same exam room at the Dr. office. I can see some of the same mannerisms between the two.

Muffins With Mom
The week of Mother's Day the kids had Muffins with Mom at their school. The teachers put a lot of effort and creativity into the little brunch. The kids had made lots of cute crafts related to mom.

I went to Harper's room first then headed to Brody's.

We have been so blessed by their teachers this year. They are all awesome.

GAFIA 2012
Last weekend I managed to slip away from mommy duties for 2 nights. My Baylor girls got together for our annual GAFIA weekend. (Getting. Away. From. It. All) We went to Natalie's parents lake house out in East Texas. We enjoyed time in the kitchen cooking together, laughing around the dinner table, lounging around the pool, jet skiing on the lake and talking on the dock until after dark. I love these girls dearly and always come away so refreshed after time with them.

homemade pizzas. so yummy

Sarah, Michelle, & I all celebrated our 30th birthdays the last week of April.
The glass says "30 is the new 20"

Of course we toasted with our milk before bedtime.

Titan Playoffs Round 1
Our CHS Titans are having a great year so far in baseball. They advanced to the first round of the playoffs last weekend and beat Rockwall High School to advance to round 2. The kids and I attended the game on Thursday night.

This is Brody's favorite spot. Under the bleachers.

We are so thankful that Grandad Sherman attends every game. He loves to help with the kids.
