Lately

I haven't taken many pictures lately but here are a few from the past couple of weeks.
The kids had Tiny Texan Day at School and they brought in a real pony for them to have their pics taken on.

For my birthday I treated myself to a new lens for my camera.  I've been wanting one for a while and I'm so thankful that I finally got it.

My favorite people!

We are getting ready to be outnumbered in our house so little Miss and I have to stick together.

We transitioned Brody from a crib to a big boy bed a few weeks ago.  He and Harper love playing under his new bed.

Today we drove down to Grapevine to meet Colin.  Amanda and I have been friends since birth and I'm excited that she has a boy now also.  Noelle is such a sweet big sister.

Playoff games round 2 start tomorrow.  Go Marcus!

Showering Baby Droogsma

Last weekend my college roommates and I threw a baby shower for Natalie and Baby Droogsma.
Michelle, Natalie, Elisa, Sarah

We are due just 2 days apart so it has been fun being pregnant at the same time as Natalie.

Natalie is decorating her nursery in yellow, blue and grey so we went with that theme.

We had people write funny sayings on diapers for those late night diaper changes.

We played a little game between Natalie and her hubby during the shower. Elisa came up with about 15 questions about all things baby.  She recorded Amory answering these questions before the shower.  During the shower, we asked Natalie these same questions and she had to guess what Amory's answers were.
It was pretty funny.

Natalie and her beautiful mom

Baby Sherman can't wait to meet Baby Droogsma! Who knows - they might be future Baylor roommates like their moms.

Getting Closer

Just a few more weeks of baseball season.  Our Marcus Marauders are having a great season. Last Tuesday night Jeff's family from Cleburne all drove over to Flower Mound for the game. His dad has 2 brothers and they were both able to be there.  I love this photo of his granny and her 3 sons.

They won the game!
Later that week my parents came over for a few days.  My dad had a meeting to attend in Dallas so Mom of course tagged along. Mom helped me paint Brody's new room and the new nursery.  We transitioned Brody  out of his crib so we could get the new nursery set up. Friday night, after painting all day, Dad, Brody and I drove up to Denton for the baseball game. Harper and Mimi stayed home to finish decorating.

Fun conversations between Brody and Papa

He will always find the dirt pile to play in.

It was getting pretty late so Brody just chilled in his little chair.

In the 6th inning, Brody decided that he was ready to go so he packed up his chair and started towards the car.  Too bad the game went on for a little longer.

First "Real" Soccer Game

Saturday morning was our first "real" soccer game.  The week before was an inter squad scrimmage.  I think Harper had fun at the game.  The YMCA is right across the street from our house so that makes getting to the games easy. My mom & dad were in town so they came out to cheer her on.

A little pre game stretching.

Go #28!!

Chandler and Harper - the only 2 girls on the team!

Blue team wins! 8-0

A Busy Saturday

After Harper's soccer game last Saturday morning, we headed home for naps and then to the baseball field to catch the end of the game.  It was nice to be at a game in the daylight.
A little fist bump for daddy

Their favorite part of the game is running out on the field after to give daddy hugs
