My Little Picassos

In the midst of unpacking boxes, we managed to enjoy being outside one morning for a little painting session.  I love watching their little imaginations at work.

Elisa's Baby Shower

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of hosting a baby shower for my dear college friend, Elisa. We had a Noah's Ark themed shower and had lots of fun.  Unfortunately, Elisa is on bed rest so we had to move the party to her house but she managed to get off the couch for a few photos.

Homemade cupcakes and marzipan animals by Sarah & Michelle.

In honor of our Baylor roots, we served Dr. Pepper floats.

Favorite gift for Baby M was a "Super Baylor Fan cap and onesie".

We love you Elisa and can't wait to meet Baby M in a few months.

Costume Day at Preschool

Friday before Halloween the kids got to wear theis costumes to Preschool.  It happened to be pretty coold that morning so they were less than thrilled to be outside taking pics before school.

My little pumpkin!

And he is done...

Fort Wildflower

The end of October and the beginning of November have been unseasonably warm around here.  We have enjoyed exploring our new city and finding fun new parks.  Fort Wildflower is a brand new park that just opened a few weeks ago.  It is awesome and the kids love it!

They have modern day versions of the same park toys that we used to play on when we were little like the merry go round, see saw, and tire swings.

I need to get little Miss in gymnastics!

They stood on this and it starts spinning.  They had fun while on it but then when they stepped off they were so dizzy they both fell flat on their faces.  Opps!

I'm sure that we will spend lots more mornings here.

Brody's Thomas The Train Birthday Party

Five days after we moved into the new house I threw a little birthday party for Brody.  Even though we were busy with the move, I couldn't let his special day go by with out a little celebration.  We had family and a few friends over.

He enjoyed opening his presents and big sis loved helping also.  The Baylor shirt was the first gift that he opened so of course we had to sport it for the rest of the party.

Brody loves anything that has wheels so he loved all of the new cars and trucks that he received.

Granny Sherman enjoyed reading his new books to him

Of course Papa was down on the kitchen floor playing with his cars.

Brody loves books - especially ones with tabs to lift up and find things.

Aunt Beka helping his learn how to do his first remote control truck.

Happy Birthday Brody Thomas. You are our sunshine!

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Flower Mound has a great FREE pumpkin patch that we took the kids to before Halloween.  My mom tagged along for the fun.

Harper enjoyed the inflatable slides and the bounce houses.

Brody lasted about 60 seconds in the bounce house. He wasn't so sure about it.

I highly recommend making the drive out to Flower Mound next year to visit the pumpkin patch.  It was great.
