Halloween Party with Friends

Last week we headed over to Elle & Anne Charlotte's house for a little Halloween fun complete with cookie decorating, a yummy lunch and a costume parade.
The girls waiting patiently for their cookie decorating supplies.
I love this little hand reaching up for the yummy spider brownies

Harper doing a little decorating
I think the candy corn was her favorite

Sweet Anne Charlotte loved the icing!

Pumpkin shaped sandwiches

Our attempt at getting a pic of the girls outside - Cinderella is on the loose

We then headed out on our costume parade but it got really hot so the girls had to stop for a little break. This is how most pics of 4 toddlers turn out - everyone looking a different direction.

Thanks for a fun morning Mindy!

Brody's First Birthday Party

I'm a little behind in blogging but we had Brody's first birthday party on Oct. 16th. We enjoyed a fun afternoon with family and a few friends. The party was a baseball theme complete with concession stand type food (hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, popcorn, etc.). Decorating was pretty easy because I just raided Jeff's closet and the CHS fieldhouse.
Can't believe that this little man is already one!
A few of the decorations
Jeff decorated the cupcakes! I figured he had seen enough baseballs in his life to recreate one on the cupcake.
Harper waiting patiently for Brody to finish so she could have her cupcake
After cupcakes, we let him open his presents.
My Aunt Cyndi & Uncle Jack gave both of the kids the cutest piggy banks.  Harper walked around the rest of the party asking everyone for their "coins".
My dear college friends that came to the party
Brody (and the rest of us) are excited to have Aunt Beka living in Dallas now.
Grandad Sherman gave him this riding dino toy.  He and Harper both love it.
Granny Sherman with our family.  Harper was Done taking pics by this point during the day.
We love you Brody Thomas!
And just for fun - here's a video of him eating his cupcake.

Happy Birthday Graham

Friday night the kids and I put on our blue and yellow and helped celebrate Graham's birthday at the McKinney HS football game. Ashley hosted a fun tailgate birthday party.  Everything was so cute and she didn't leave out any details.

Harper checking out the football chocolate covered strawberries.

She even made a football shaped cheese ball.

My best attempt to get a pic of all four of the kids

Happy Birthday Graham - we love you and are so thankful for you.

Still Undefeated

Our Centennial Titans are having the best year in the school's history. Last week we played cross town rival Wakeland and beat them 17-15! Jeff's dad came to the game and helped with the kiddos. He came armed with snacks which helped keep kids from having too many meltdowns as it got later.

Our little Titan Cheerleader.

We made it to the end of the game! Whew... I'm thankful that I can attend the games to support Jeff but I sure do pay for these late nights for several days after games.

Still Undefeated. 7-0!

Safari Park with Olivia Kate

Harper has been to the Safari Park in Plano several times and really seems to enjoy it.  Her friend Olivia Kate had never been before so Harper showed her the ropes.

Playing a little golf

Brody wanted in on the action

They have a little area for the babies to play filled with soft things.
Of all of the toys to play with Preston and Brody found the pink ball.  You can tell that they both have older sisters.

Olivia Kate & Harper waiting patiently for their turn to ride the zebra and dinosaur.
