End of the Season

The Centennial Titans, Jeff's baseball team, had a great season this year and advanced to the playoffs.  After playing a great game against Highland Park last week, they ended up losing at the last inning.

Good luck kiss before the game.

During the singing of the National Anthem

Harper spent most of the game running around and playing in the batting cages.

Brody made it through the whole game without falling asleep.  I think this pic was about 9 p.m!

The head coach has a 7 year old son named Chance.  Harper followed Chance around all evening wanting him to play with her.

The kids and I actually made it until the end of the game! It was 3 hours past their bedtime by the time we got home but it was fun evening supporting our Titans.

We are so proud of Jeff and his team but we are glad to have Daddy back home a little more.

My 29th

My 29th birthday was at the end of April and I got to celebrate in Paris with my family. Jeff had to stay home for a baseball game. We celebrated my birthday before the wedding shower extravaganza for Carol.

Watercolors

Harper got some watercolor paints for Easter and she has enjoyed painting with them.

Wedding Showers and Parties

My sister is getting married in a few weeks and I went home for a weekend full of wedding showers.  Rebekah and I helped to host a personal shower for Carol on Saturday morning.

Routon & Cutrell girls - we missed you Laura! I've known these girls forever!

Pretty decorations and yummy brunch food

I think that I've known Brittany and Candace since they were born!

We played a few games that Carol wasn't so sure about.

Excited about opening her gifts.

Did you really expect me to put any pics of the gifts on the blog?

After the morning shower, we all headed to a second shower given by some of my mom's best friends.

They put on a lovely afternoon event.  It was fun visiting from lots of women from our growing up days.

As soon as the afternoon shower for Carol was over, I packed up the kids and headed back to McKinney.  I dropped them off at the house with Jeff and then I headed to Ft. Worth to meet up with Jessica and the other bridesmaids for a yummy dinner at the Reata. Jessica is getting married this weekend and I can't wait to celebrate with her.  Jessica and I have known each other our entire lives.

Whew - May is flying by because it's been so busy.

Playtime

Harper loves when her friend Anna comes over to play.

The room is always filled with giggles!

Love hearing these girls laugh!

Jumperoo

We pulled the jumperoo out of the attic for Brody to play in.  I think Harper had more fun trying to show him how to use it.

A little nervous about all of the noise.

I love how Brody is hanging on here.

Harper is trying to jump with him.

6 months already

I'm a little late in posting this but we can't believe that Brody is six months old already. We had his 6 month Dr. appointment last week and he checked out just fine.

He is still sleeping through the night and wakes up happy most mornings.  We started rice cereal and food this past month and so far he has had pears, apples, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, green beans, peas & spinach.  He loves it all and squeals for more when it's all gone.

6 Month Stats:
Weight: 17 lbs. 7 ozs. (60%)
Length: 27 3/4 inches (90%)
Head: 17 1/4 inches (65%)
Here is Harper at 6 months old

We are loving life with this little guy!
