Another win for the Titans

This weekend, Jeff's team was playing in another tournament.  The weather was perfect today so Harper and I headed down to Dallas for the games. They won their first game this morning which put them into the Championship game this afternoon.
Harper and Grace Walsh.  They loved playing with each other.

After the first game this morning, we went to lunch with the team.  We of course had to get a Sprinkle's cupcake for dessert. I meant to take a picture of it before we ate half of it!
After lunch, Harper and I met up with mom to shop for a few hours between the two games.  We went to one store and Harper found this massage chair.  She thought that the control was a telephone.
After shopping, we all went back to the field to watch the last game.
After winning the last game 16-2 they won 1st place at the whole tournament!!  Go Titans Go!

Harper loves to dance!

Harper loves this new fun toy that Anna is letting us borrow.  She LOVES dancing to the music.  I think she does have a little bit of rhythm!
A little more dancing.
After dancing, she sat down long enough for Papa to read her a story.

"Brown Bear. Brown Bear. What do you see?"

Fun Day

We had another beautiful day today.  Hopefully spring is just around the corner. We went and walked around downtown McKinney where there are lots of neat stores and restaurants. We had a yummy lunch at The Pantry.  Harper loved sipping the juice out of the bottom of her fruit cup!

After enjoying our time out shopping, we had to stop for half price drinks at Sonic.  Mimi got Harper a slush and she loved it!!
We headed to the park this evening.  It was a little windy but goregous outside.

What a fun afternoon.

18 months old

I can't believe that our little Harper Joy is already 18 months old. The last year and a half have flown by so fast.  She is so much fun these days. She's into everything but as such a cute little personality.
Excited to eat her frog marshmellow from Anna's birthday party
Not excited for me to be taking her picture.
I love her little laugh!

Happy Birthday Anna!

Harper's sweet friend Anna turned 2 last week.  We went to her birthday party yesterday at My Gym.  It was a great place to have a birthday party because the kids could run around and play.  They had a ball pit, obstacle course, swings, story time, bubbles, dancing, and lots of other fun things.

Take me out to the ballgame

Jeff's team has had a baseball tournament all weekend.  The weather was finally nice today so Harper and I were able to attend the game.  Harper loved being outside this afternoon.  There are so many fun things to do at the baseball field.
"Mom - look at this big stick I found!"
Playing with Grace (another coaches daughter)
Playing with the nets
"I found a ball to play with!"
I think she might be a leftie.
"GO Titans Go"
Best seat in the house - on top of the John Deer.
Celebrating the win with Daddy!
This was the first game that we went to last year!  What a difference one year makes!

Half Marathon

This past Sunday morning, Jeff & I ran the Stonebridge Ranch Half Marathon. It was the first time since before Harper was born that we were able to do compete together.  Most of the time one of us is on the sidelines with Miss Harper.  My parents were in town so they were able to keep Harper for us.  It was raining that morning when we woke up. It stopped for a little while so I thought that it had past.  But unfortunately, at mile 2 it started raining and it just poured even more as the race went on.  It even started hailing on us at mile 11!!  Let's just say that I've never been so wet and cold!  We stayed together during the race and Jeff was able to keep me company and encourage me.

We don't have any pics of us running and when we got home we went straight to the shower to get warmed up.  We ran the event in 1:48 and both placed first in our age group.  We were pretty excited. Here's Harper checking out Mommy's medal.

Jeff did run also but he's taking the pics.
He has to keep training because he's running the Big D Marathon in a few weeks.
