Crawfish Boil, My 35th, Zoo Field Trip and More

We left the boys at home and had a girls night at daddy's baseball game.
Saturday night my friend Laura hosted a fun crawfish boil for her hubs 40th birthday.  We have never been to one and the kids thought it was so cool.  She had a live jazz band out on her driveway.
Walker loves Mrs. Justine, his preschool teacher.
Thankful for these sweet friends!
Our Monday mornings are usually pretty low key. Walker loves to have friends over to play.  Cohen is one of his best little buddies.
Monday night we had Brody's baseball game.  Walker insisted on watching with his mask on.

Brody had a fun season with the Tigers.

Thursday was Harper's 2nd grade field trip to the FW Zoo.  It was hot and crazy crowded but she had a blast with her friends.
Saturday morning the YMCA held a Family Fun day so the boys and I stopped by after Brody's baseball game.  My fav instructor, Kylie, created an obstacle course in the gym for the kids to do.
Coloring with their feet.
Saturday evening several families all gathered for dinner at Market Street to celebrate my birthday. My friend Karyn even made me a strawberry birthday cake.  The kids played outside on the playground until a cold front blew in and it started raining.
Sunday after church we ventured out to the new Flower Mound River Walk.  The kids enjoyed exploring.

Early Birthday Celebration and Easter Weekend

My parents came on Thursday for the Marcus game. They stayed two nights with us before they packed up and headed to San Antonio to see Asher.
They came with gifts for the kids.  Walker loves loves loves all costumes!

H & B enjoyed playing with these new kinetic connectors.

Friday night we hosted my family all at our house for some birthday celebrating.  Rebekah & Rex both turned 27 the same week.
Mr. Police man keeping us all safe
We celebrated my birthday early.  35?? What?

Sunday morning the kids hunted eggs before going to church.

Sunday afternoon we actually headed to Six Flags with the Hoods.

Walker and I enjoyed the mini mine train and the carousel while the big kids rode some big rides with daddy.

April Happenings

Saturday night I took Harper on a little date to the Marquette Spring show.  It was a wonderful production and she enjoyed watching all of the dancing.

Sunday morning I woke up early and drove over to the Flower Mound CAC for a little early morning Sprint Triathlon.  My friends over at Dallas Athletes Racing always put on such a fun event. I placed 4th in my age group and enjoyed being out on the race course.
Sunday afternoon daddy had to work so the kids and I had a picnic at the park.
It's fun to explore our own town.

Walker has upgraded to Brody's old bike with training wheels. He accompanied me on a little training run on Monday morning.
Tuesday night was a big baseball game against cross town rival Flower Mound.  I chose to keep the kids up way past their bed time on a school night. They helped me cheer on his team to a win!
