Dinner with Friends

Last weekend we got to have a last minute / spur of the moment dinner with my college roomie, Natalie, and her family.  We met at a yummy Mexican restaurant in Flower Mound that has a great patio and live music.  The kids were entertained by the music and we got to catch up with friends - it was a win win for everyone.

These two are just a few days apart from each other and might just be Baylor roomates down the road.

Hello Spring

Saturday was Gorgeous - we finally had perfect weather to be outside all day. So after soccer practice we headed out on a bike ride to the park.
The trail system where we ride has little exercise stations along the way.  The kids always insist on stopping to "exercise" (play).

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

Yeah for Spring!!

Brody got a little tired on our way back so he rode in the stroller with the tricycle on top of him.

Brody's First Soccer Practice

Brody is taking a small fry soccer class at the YMCA this Spring.  It's a fun little class where they learn the fundamentals of soccer before they play on a team with "real games". He really enjoyed himself.  He has several friends all in the same class.

Just another week

Our week in pictures -
Costco shopping with the little man.  He was so tired that he about fell asleep on the bag of Pirate Booty.

Fun afternoon at the park

Hanging out at Jeff's baseball field during practice one afternoon.

Silly art work from school.

During baseball season there is a team dinner each week on Thursday night before the Friday night game.  Different families host it each week and we enjoy going because we get to see daddy and get a yummy dinner. Last week they had a crawfish boil and I've never seen these boys eat so much.  They won big on Friday night against McKinney Boyd - 8-1.  So maybe the crawfish was good luck.

Baseball people and Ninja Turtles

I'm thankful for technology during baseball season.  When we can't make it to the game, we can watch it live online.  The boys got these baseball figures that they like to play with.  One afternoon while we were watching a game on the ipad, they were trying to follow along with their little baseball men.
One afternoon, Harper hijacked my phone and enjoyed taking pics of Brody outside.  Crazy kid.

Sweet friends celebrating Amanda's 30th birthday.  I'm thankful for these women that have come into my life since moving to Flower Mound.

We kept Ariana one day last week and I took the kids on a little walk and then to the gym.

The big kids had a ninja turtle birthday party to attend.  Michala did a great job making masks and nunchucks for all of the kids.

Rainy Day Fun

One rainy afternoon, the kids were itching to go outside and I gave in.  So off they went to play in the rain.  Walker refused to leave his lovie inside so he drug it through the rain and mud. They pulled out all of their beach toys and were doing experiments with rain water.

Tiny Texan Day

Brody had Tiny Texan Day at preschool last week. He was a handsome little cowboy.
We carpool every day with our little buddy Carter.  They are so sweet together. Their teacher calls them the dynamic duo.
