Old College Tri

I dusted off the old Tri gear and raced in my first Tri in over 3 years. I had so much fun being back out on the course.  Forgot how much I enjoyed racing!

Found my people before the swim start.

Jeff brought the kids and his sister brought Rylee.  They had a stroller full on the sidelines.

Loved having the kids there to cheer me on.

Fun times!

Walker 15 Month

At 15 months Walker is so much fun.
Easy Going
LOUD (because he has to be loud to be heard in this house)
Daredevil - (caught him marching on the piano keys)
Gives the best hugs
Loves to sit in his chair and look at books
Follows Big Sis & Big Bro around...constantly.
Doesn't want to miss out on anything
Not a fan of carpool line
Still loves to eat

At his 15 month appointment he good a great report. We are thankful that he is healthy and growing.  Wasn't so sure about this gown that they put on him.

15 Months:
Weight - 27 lbs 13 oz (97%)
Height - 32.5" (91%)

We love you Walker Lee.

A Little Backyard Project

Since we moved into this house we have wanted to do some kind of shade cover over our back patio.  The kids enjoy being outside but it's miserable in the heat because there is no shade. My dad was the mastermind behind our new patio cover.  After many trips to Home Depot, a city permit, several weekend of work, and a only a few mishaps, we finished our patio cover.
Brody loved helping!
Walker enjoyed watching.
I need to get a picture of the finished product.

Brody's First Day of School

Brody waited patiently for over a week for his school to start. Every day when Harper went to school he would ask when it was his turn.  He is attending FLDS again this year but going 3 days instead of 2.  He loves Ms. Tonya and loves school.

Brody keeps us on our toes at all times.  He is sweet, loves to organize things and is full of energy.

Frisco Rough Riders

Jeff's dad took us to the last Rough Riders game of the season. The tickets included all you can eat food and drinks from the concession stands.  That really helped keep the kids entertained. I think I probably made 10 trips back and forth to get more to eat and drink refills.

Walker is eyeing that hot dog!

Fun for daddy to be in the stands for a change

Thanks Grandad Sherman for a fun night out.

Staying Active

The kids love to be outside! It's been so hot that we try to get out first thing in the morning.  They enjoy riding their bikes.
Planning our route

Riding to the gym so mommy can work out.

I've recently discovered kids yoga videos on youtube.  They love them!  They are each about 15 minutes and hold their attention and gives them a chance to listen to instructions and work on their flexibility and coordination.

Active kids = happy kids!

Harper's Birthday

It's becoming birthday tradition for this one to get a birthday cake flavored sno cone at Bahama Buck's.  She had a great day at school and enjoyed birthday treats after school.

We had dinner with Aunt Beka that night before she left for her trip to Australia.
