More catching up

I'm determined to get caught up on the blog. Here are some pics from last week.
More time spent at the baseball field

We had lunch with Aunt Rebekah before she left for a two week road trip.

Harper and I had a girl's afternoon and went to a little birthday party for one of her friends.

When the big kids are at preschool, Walker hangs out with me while I try to get some work done.

Trip to the Dentist

I finally checked this off my to do list a few weeks ago - dentist visits for the kids!  Harper had been when we lived in McKinney but Brody had never been.  We found a new family dentist close to our house.  Ms. Val & Ms. Jill did great with the kids.

Fall Ball

Jeff's Marcus teams play in a Fall baseball league.  They have home games several nights each week.  UIL stipulates that the school coaches can't coach the team during Fall ball so he gets to be out with us watching the games.  I've taken the kids up to the field several evenings to run around and burn off some energy before bedtime.

One of my favorite pics!

Lately

The weather has cooled off enough to enjoy being outside more.  Most afternoons we open up the garage door and pull out all of the toys onto the driveway. We live in a cul de sac and all of the neighbor kids come over to play.  There are 9 kids under the age of 7 between the 4 houses.  The kids enjoy the company.

Right down the street from our house is an entrance to the Flower Mound trail system.  The kids enjoy riding their bikes while I push Walker in the stroller.

Sometimes Brody gets tired of riding his Strider bike and just decides to push it home.

Little man is rolling over now and enjoys sitting up in the bumbo seat.

My parents went to Europe for 2 weeks and we picked them up at the airport when they returned.

Technology, Play time and Dinner time

This big guy loves to eat but he is now hitting the stage where he is very easily distracted while eating.

Thank goodness for technology to sometimes keep these 2 busy and "quiet".  They always want to be right where I'm trying to feed Walker.

Teaching Brody Solitaire on the ipad

We have enjoyed a break from the heat with some outside play time

I'm experimenting with different crock pot meals and Brody gave me a thumbs up on this recipe.

A little chocolate pudding is always a good source of bribery also.

A Little More Celebrating

Harper's birthday was the week before school started but they had a little "summer birthday party" the first week of school.  There were 4 kids that had summer birthdays so the celebrated all of them together.  She came home with this cute birthday crown and some balloons.

Daddy was tied up that evening so I took the kids to Bahama Bucks for some snow cone treats.  They were so yummy!

Of course she had to get birthday cake flavor

"Too Cold!"

While Harper was at school the next day Brody and I made monster cookies.

Walker's Dedication

Since moving to Flower Mound last year,  we have found a wonderful church home at FBC Lewisville.  Last month we had Walker's baby dedication / Parent Commitment.

Walker and his buddy Boston. They are just a few weeks apart and both have a big sis and middle brother.
Both big kids went up on stage with us but you can't see them behind this table.

Everyone loved the photo up on the screen.

All of the excitement up on stage tuckered out little Walker.

We are so thankful for these three little ones that the Lord has trusted us to raise.
