Still Undefeated

Our Centennial Titans are having the best year in the school's history. Last week we played cross town rival Wakeland and beat them 17-15! Jeff's dad came to the game and helped with the kiddos. He came armed with snacks which helped keep kids from having too many meltdowns as it got later.

Our little Titan Cheerleader.

We made it to the end of the game! Whew... I'm thankful that I can attend the games to support Jeff but I sure do pay for these late nights for several days after games.

Still Undefeated. 7-0!

Safari Park with Olivia Kate

Harper has been to the Safari Park in Plano several times and really seems to enjoy it.  Her friend Olivia Kate had never been before so Harper showed her the ropes.

Playing a little golf

Brody wanted in on the action

They have a little area for the babies to play filled with soft things.
Of all of the toys to play with Preston and Brody found the pink ball.  You can tell that they both have older sisters.

Olivia Kate & Harper waiting patiently for their turn to ride the zebra and dinosaur.

Bicycle Built for 3?

I was looking into getting a double bike trailer to pull the kids behind our bikes.  A friend had an older version that her kids had outgrown, so she gave it to us.  We hooked it up this weekend and took the kids for a little spin.  Harper loved it!

I still need to get a helmet for Brody.

I told Harper to make sure that Brody didn't lean too far forward and this is what she did to keep him back.
And they are off...

Go faster Daddy!  Go faster Daddy!

Titans 6-0

Our Centennial Titans are having a great season.  They are 6-0 so far and not showing signs of slowing down.  I was flying solo at the game on Friday night and the kids did great.  Brody had to wear his Texas jersey (from Papa) because it was TX/OU weekend.

We sat down close to the field for the first half but Mr. B was not happy just sitting on my lap.  He wanted to move, crawl, climb, etc.  So we headed up to the VIP lounge at Pizza Hut Park to watch the 2nd half of the game.  Not sure why I'm just discovering this area.  It has carpet for Brody to crawl around on, leather recliners, and air conditioner!

Brody and Malachi Grayson

Titans win 34-13!

It's 10:30 and way past the kids bed time - can you tell in this pic? Ha - looks like they are asleep with their eyes open.

Harper and Haley (her favorite babysitter)

Go Titans!

Go Rangers!

It's the middle of football season but baseball has been on in our house lately.  Our Texas Rangers are 2-0 in the ALCS.  Two more wins to get to the World Series again.

Triathlon: Fun to be Back

I finally jumped back into racing triathlon this past month.  It's been hard finding the time to train now that there are two little ones wanting my attention. My college roommate, Michelle, and I did two triathlons in September.  First up was the Blackland Sprint Triathlon in Plano.  This was my first race back since Brody.
We had a great time out on the course and I even came away with 1st place in my age group.
Last Sunday, Michelle & I did the Stonebridge Ranch Triathlon in McKinney.  This was Michelle's first olympic distance race.  Originally I was planning to to the olympic distance also, but a busy September put a damper on my training so I stuck with the Sprint on race day. Emily and Elisa came on race morning to surprise Michelle. It was so fun having them cheer us on.

First open water swim of the year...thank goodness I didn't forget how.
And she's out of the water...

4 loops of the bike course and still looking strong.

Starting her run

The Sprint distance race didn't start until 9:00 after most of the oly athletes were on the run.
Whew - I made it out of the water.

Jeff and the kids made it in time to see me on the bike & run
Harper enjoyed cheering me on.

So fun to get a hug & kiss from Harper as I was heading out on to the run course.

Michelle coming down the finish chute.  She did great on her first olympic distance!

Excited to be almost done.

Thank you Emily & Elisa for coming over to cheer us on.
And just for the record...I placed 2nd in my age group!
