Harper and her Muscles

Harper has moved from the swimming ring to water wings or "muscles" as she calls them.  She loves going off the diving board at Mimi & Papa's pool.





This picture cracks me up because she was trying to get away from "Charlie" the pool sweeper in the bottom of the pool.

Multi-Generations

A few weekends ago, the kids and I headed up to Paris while Jeff was out of town for football.
In the mornings, my dad likes to take Harper over to Grandma Jane's house which is at the end of my parents driveway. Harper likes to eat breakfast with her Great Great Grandmother and help feed the birds.  This morning, she and her baby doll got a ride back to the house from Grandma.  I hope that I'm this active when I'm 102!

Catching Up

Football season has started and it's been pretty busy around here.  I was recently told that my blog was broken because it hadn't been updated in 3 weeks!  Oops. I have lots of life and pics to catch up on so bear with me.
We enjoyed some playtime at the mall one hot afternoon before Jeff went back to school.

So Harper has been getting up really early every day - usually before 6 a.m.  Whew that makes for a long day! I tried this trick to cover up the minutes on her clock and tell her that she can come out of her room when the numbers matched.  It didn't work...

Little Daredevil

Harper discovered the diving board at Mimi & Papa's house last weekend. Once she got the hang of it there was no stopping her.

Squeaky Clean

Brody loves bath time just like his sister. Most of the time they get a bath together but here was a rare time for him to play by himself and not have her stealing his toys.

Pool Time in Paris

It's been so hot the last few weeks, the only way to stay cool is in the pool!

I'm so thankful that I put Harper in swim lessons at the beginning of the summer because she is doing great and loves the water!

New Things in Paris

Last weekend the kids and I went to Paris because Jeff was tied up with football. Mimi had purchased a few early birthday presents for Harper to play with while we were there. Harper enjoyed the Dora book with attached "cd player".

This little fishing game kept her busy for a while.

Such concentration is required to catch these little fish when they are spinning around and opening and closing their mouths.

Harper also got a new painting set that she enjoyed doing.
