Playtri Triathlon

Sunday morning we headed out to Las Colinas to watch the Playtri Triathlon.  My college roommates, Natalie & Michelle, were both racing in the Sprint. I would have loved to be racing with them, but don't think that would be a good idea considering that I am 5 months pregnant.

There was some cloud cover at the beginning of the race but by the end we were all pretty hot.  We stopped by Sonic on the way home and Harper even had a lemon berry slush in her sippy cup.

What a fun morning.

Fun Weekend

We had a fun but busy weekend.  On Saturday morning, Jeff worked the Centennial graduation and I helped host Rhonda's wedding shower.  It was fun to meet lots of Rhonda's friends from church.

While Jeff and I were tied up on Saturday morning, Aunt Beka helped with Harper.  Our afternoon treat was a yummy snow cone!


Saturday evening we met our sweet friends the Diamond's for dinner. They have a little girl Abigail that is a little older than Harper.  Abigail is so sweet to pass down her clothes to Harper.  It's always like Christmas when we get a new package of clothes. Harper was fascinated with these snow boots.  Maybe next year we will have snow like we did this year so she can use her new boots.

She had to put on the rain coat to make her outfit complete.

Visiting Sweet Friends

When we were in Paris this weekend, I was able to visit with one of my childhood friends, Janae. I think that we probably met in the church nursery when we were both babies.  We grew up living around the corner from each other, going to same church, same school, same summer camps, etc.  She now lives in Dallas with her husband, Dan, and their sweet baby Jae Elizabeth is 5 months old. We had fun catching up and letting our little girls meet each other for the first time.

We are so excited that we live in a neighborhood with a community pool now.  Harper is going to be a little water baby by the end of the summer.
