Jeff's birthday was on the 17th. We enjoyed celebrating him over several days.
We had Jeff's birthday dinner at Grimaldi's. It's a yummy pizza place in Highland Village that just so happens to give you a coupon for a free pizza on your birthday. They gave the kids dough and a pizza pan to plan with while we were waiting on our pizza. Brilliant idea. It's pretty much like play dough.
The next night we were over in Frisco and drove through their downtown square which features millions of lights all set to music. We have gone every year and I feel like they add a little more each year. It's magical.
During the "Let It Snow" song it actually snows down on the streets. This is Harper leaning out the window catching "snow".
Jeff's actual birthday fell on a school day so the kids surprised him at baseball practice with balloons, silly string and cookies for the whole team. Unfortunately it was a yucky rainy day.
