First Pitch Dinner & a Super Bowl Party

February was off to a quick start.  Baseball tryouts happened and then we kicked off Jeff's 5th season at Marcus with the First Pitch dinner.

We hosted the baseball team for a Super Bowl party.  It was a little crowded but everyone had fun.  I've never seen 15 pizzas devoured so quickly.

MCA Talent Show

Harper participated in the school talent show with a group of 2nd grade girl friends.  They did a cute dance to the song "Get Back Up Again" from the Trolls soundtrack.  They practiced long and hard and the finished dance was adorable!

Gloria Cutrell - My Mama

My precious Mama Cutrell died peacefully in her sleep on January 25th.  She went to heaven and I know that she is probably dancing and laughing with my Papa right now.  I will forever treasure my sweet memories of Mama  She was always so involved in our lives.  Attending birthday parties, making holiday memories, spending summer afternoons swimming in their backyard pool with cousins, taking trips together and more.  Mama lived a very full life and left such a great legacy for our family.

We had spent a wonderful weekend with family celebrating her life.

Adventure Day at the Lake

When it's 75 degrees in January you head to the lake for an adventure Saturday.  We found a neat little cove at Lake Grapevine where the kids could just run, hike, throw rocks and look for sticks.

Baby Shower for Asher

My sister, Carol, is expecting her first baby.  She flew up from San Antonio for the weekend so we could have a little baby shower to celebrate. I hosted at my house and Mimi came to the rescue with her awesome party planing skills. We did a Story book themed shower with decor from all of her favorite children's books.

 

Baby Asher will be Grandmommy's 4th great grand child.

Lots of her Paris friends from growing up were able to attend.  

We did a onesie decorating station and everyone decorated some really cute ones for baby Asher to wear.  

We can't wait to meet Baby Asher.
