4ht of July Parade in Paris

On the way to the parade we made a stop at the farmer's market in Paris.

We enjoy catching up with Amanda and her family when we are in Paris.  The girls have watched the parade together several times over the years.  A lot has changed in the last 5 years.

Love small town living - never know what you will see.  Tractors, cowboy riding a longhorn, giant cow rolling down the street.

Water Logged?

I love our time in Paris with grandparents.  We spend our mornings swinging on the porch and the rest of the day in the pool!

Headed to Paris

We packed up and headed to Paris for the 4th of July weekend. The kids and I went on Wednesday and made a stop in Sulphur Springs on the way to visit Mama Cutrell.
Walker came in to tell me that he packed his suitcase all by himself.  It was all underwear!  Nothing else.  Can you tell that we have been potty training around here and going through lots of undies?

Sweet visit with Mama Cutrell

Happy Hour at Braums was next on the agenda for $1 waffle cones.

As soon as we made it to Paris, they went straight to the pool.

A little Hands Down game with Mimi before bedtime.

VBS, Coaches Outreach, and more swimming

The kids enjoyed a fabulous week at VBS at our church.

That weekend, Jeff and I escaped mommy and daddy duties and attended our Coach Outreach Marriage Retreat.  It truly is our favorite weekend of the year where we can reconnect and get on the same page.

Free time on Saturday afternoon = wine tasting at the local winery.

When we returned we jumped right back into kid duty at the pool.

Swimming is truly the only way to survive the Texas heat.

Happy Birthday Boston

We had fun celebrating Boston's 3rd birthday with the dinosaurs.

It was a swim party and the kids had a great time.

Kings of the Castle

Walker loved the dinosaur theme

They were dressed in the party favors by 7 a.m. the next morning.

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day we had a low key family day.  Church and then lunch at Dickie's BBQ.

Walker enjoyed watching the College World Series with Daddy. In costume of course.

Baseball camp week 2 was a success.

The last morning of camp I had a few helpers in the concession stands with me.
