January Week 3

Last weekend we hosted a baby shower for my college roommate Michelle.  Was so fun to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Palmer.

Harper attended the shower with me.  She enjoyed having a girl's afternoon.

Our garden is still producing and the kids picked this huge head of broccoli.  We cut it up and steamed it for dinner. Everyone gobbled it up!

The boys have a Fit For Faith class at their Preschool. They were showing me their downward dog position that they learned.

We hit up a local park after school on Thursday.  The boys were just slightly distracted / entertained by the bull dozer doing work right next to the play ground.

Harper's school had a talent show on Thursday night. She wanted to go and watch a few of her friends.  Sadie and Mallori did a cute little dance duet.

January Week 2

Harper's school had a fundraiser at the local skating rink. She had fun skating with her friends.

After school snacks at daddy's baseball field.

Anniversary Week

Our 12th wedding anniversary was January 3rd.  We were able to enjoy Jeff being off for Christmas break still and managed to get out for a date night. In 2003, Jeff proposed to me while we I was visiting him in St. Louis.  To celebrate we went out to dinner at the Olive Garden. We went back this year for our Anniversary dinner to reminisce.

After school, we like to stop by Jeff's baseball field so the kids can play and see him.

We have adopted our own Taco Tuesday at our house using these fun taco boats.

Thanks to Mimi for keeping the kids one night while Jeff and I caught a late movie. We had a gift card for the AMC theater and went to the dine in theater that has super comfy chairs that recline.

An impulse purchase at Target were these light sabers.

Park time

Happy Birthday Rylee!

Rylee's birthday was a few days of Christmas but Rhonda had her party in January.  We all went over to Fort Worth to celebrate our niece / cousin.

With baby Reed.

Working Out

Over Christmas Break we took the kids up to the Indoor Athletic Center at Marcus one morning to let them "work out"  or burn off some energy!

Cutrell Family Christmas

The entire Cutrell Clan all gathered at my Uncle & Aunt's house in Sulphur Springs on Sunday. I LOVE when we all get together and catch up on live.  We ate, played games, watched football, sang Christmas carols around the piano while Aunt Ruth played, and more.

My favorite tradition is acting out the Nativity.  We have had these same costumes since I was little.
Brody was a wiseman and Harper played Mary.  Walker was napping at the time.

After leaving Susan's house we went over to visit Mama Cutrell. She was in great spirits and was fun to chat with.
