Family Time

October is flying by.  We've been busy with family things, school, and friends.
A rare family dinner all together at once.  Most nights, Harper is at cross country practice so she eats before she leaves and then again after she gets home.

Pep Rally fun at Marcus. The football team only lost one game this year and is headed into the playoffs.

Home made snow cones for after school snack.

On Friday of red ribbon week the theme was "The Greatest Show on Earth"  so Harper wanted to dress up like a clown.  It was also pouring down rain that day so rain boots were added into the mix.

We love our Ring Leader (Principal), Mrs. Mattingly.

My friend Karyn and I have started trading out baby sitting and date nights.  We had her three kids over for dinner and play time while she and Steve went out on a date.

Cross country practice on a rainy Saturday morning.

The YMCA had a little fall festival on Halloween that I took the kids to.

Another Week

Harper had Red Ribbon week at school and every day was a different themed day.  Monday was Dress like a Tourist Day.

While Harper is at school, the boys and I have enjoyed getting out and enjoying the Fall weather.

Exploring the trails

Lego time while little brother is napping.

Safety First

I can't keep up with them anymore just walking.  I have to run.

We took of Miss Harper's training wheels and she took off immediately.  She has done great without them.

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch which is just down the road.  I was hoping that it would cool down a bit before went but it was still pretty toasty the afternoon that we went.  Mimi came along on the ride.

The bounce houses and slides are the boys favorites.

First Family Fall Festival

Our church always put on a fantastic Fall Festival the week before Halloween.  It stopped raining just in time for the big event.

Their favorite is always crawling around in the fire truck.

The 2 boys were very interested in the youth choir and decided to just jump right in with them.
