Friday Fun Day

Friday was a busy one but FUN.  We started out at the Marcus Pep Rally with daddy.

Last night I went to a fun Fave4 hair event and learned how to do some cool new styles.  This was my attempt to recreate one that we learned.  Oh and this is how I spend my life these days.... in the van with my coffee in hand driving kids to and fro.

Made a quick stop at the park before taking the boys to preschool.

I was class reader for Harper's class.  So fun to see her in action with her classmates.

My sister, Carol, came up from San Antonio for the weekend to celebrate Brody's birthday.  But first we started with Girls night out down in Dallas.  Bek introduced us to a fun Japanese restaurant across the street from her apartment in Dallas.

Then we took an Uber to downtown Dallas to the Aurora light festival.  This was a cool event put on by the Dallas Arts District.  The streets were all blocked off and there were art / light displays everywhere.

Even on the sides of buildings

The museums were open late and had free entry so we had to check out the Nasher while we were down there.

Fun night with my mom and sisters.

Another Tuesday...Another T Ball Game

T Ball has been fun for all of us.
There are lots of little brothers on the team and they have fun playing during the games.

Go Tigers!

State Fair 2015

Monday, Oct. 12th was a school holiday for everyone.  We packed up and headed down to the State Fair along with the rest of Dallas.  Mimi came along to help with Walker and we all had fun.

They have this Little Hands on the Farm exhibit that is really cute and fun for the littles.

Ice scream, you scream, we all scream for FREE ice cream!

Took their Fletcher's corn dogs out on the Swan paddle boats.

It was so hot and I had to do all of the pedaling.

Mimi spoiled them with lots of coupons that they could use for rides.

Walker chose to ride the little train.

Had to make a funnel cake stop before we left.

Saturday

Our Saturday mornings have started off with Brody's t ball games most weekends. Each inning the coach rotates them through the different positions.  Seeing him in all of the catchers gear is so cute!  One play the ball bounced into his glove and he looked so surprised like "how did that get in there?"

After the game we headed over to our favorite yogurt store for a treat.  It was their one year anniversary so they were giving away free ice cream all day.

The kids enjoyed playing outside for the afternoon while the weather was nice.

That evening we went over to the Porters house for dinner.  They have "real live chickens" running around in their back yard.  My kids were fascinated with them!

Walker and Collier

Took a stroll over to see the house with all of the Halloween inflatables.

Busy but fun day.
