First Cereal

Sweet Walker is still getting up several times each night.  This momma is ready to get some sleep.....so.... I decided that it was time to start feeding him something other than breastmilk.  We skipped rice cereal and went straight to oatmeal.  He wasn't so sure at first. I hope that it will help him start sleeping better at night.
 
I forgot how messy this is at first so next time I won't put him in the cloth bouncy seat.  We will go for the wipeable high chair.  Plus this position allowed him to chew on his feet which he seemed to be more interested in.

Fall Festivals x2

The weekend before Halloween we had several Fall Festivals to attend.  The kids preschool had one on Sunday afternoon and then our church had a Trunk or Treat event that same evening.  I had a date with Harper to her school's event so the boys could stay home and take a nap with daddy.

Pumpkin Patch with the Boys

One day while Harper was at school, the boys and I met Brooke and her kids at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch.  This was a perfect outing for Brody to run out some of his energy.

The kids both got to wear their Halloween costumes to school for a fun party complete with carnival games and too much candy.

Grapevine Pumpkin Patch

We made several visits to local pumpkin patches last month.  Our first stop was Hall's Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine.  We met Amanda and her kiddos one afternoon. The kids had fun running around and I was able to snap a few pics.

Brody dragged this wagon around collecting pumpkins.  He would stop every few steps and count them all. He was so proud of himself.

So thankful that Walker is so happy in the Ergo carrier. He hangs out in here and usually falls asleep.
