Drummin'

We enjoyed a fun morning over at Andrew's house last week.  He has a drum set that my kids were fascinated with.  I have to say that they might take after their mommy in the rhythm department. Afterall, I was in the percussion section in high school.

daylight

One night this week Jeff was able to be home during daylight hours.  That is rare during baseball season.  We enjoyed a little playtime in the front yard.  Of course the activity of choice was baseball! I think we need to get Brody a non pink bat & ball.

Practicing our fielding

Hey batter batter...swing!

Oh look we do have a non pink glove at least for Brody!

More Baseball

Tuesday night the kids and I met some friends for dinner.  We were already out so we decided to stop by the school to see Daddy before the game.  We ended up staying for the first few innings because Grandad was there to help wrangle kids.

Our view...

Now that Brody is fully walking he spent the entire game going up and down the bleachers.  Grandad and I took turns.

Easter Weekend Part 2

The kids were excited to see what the Easter bunny had left them on Sunday morning. The pillow pets from Papa & Mimi trumped the little things that the Easter bunny left. They were a hit!

Trying to figure out her Dora paddle ball.

This was Brody's first reaction when he saw the Tiger pillow.

They did a little egg hunting before breakfast.

Brody was so funny because every time he would find an egg he would walk over to Mimi and climb up in her lap open his egg.

Our family pic attempt before church

Hope that everyone had a nice relaxing Easter weekend celebrating our risen Savior.

Easter Weekend Part 1

We were able to spend Easter weekend in Paris with lots of family.  Papa of course had some fun projects for Harper to help him with.  First on the agenda was to fix the dinner bell.

Maybe my new favorite pic with Grandma Jane (Brody's great great grandma). 102 years separate these two.

These two always provide so much entertainment!  Love our conversations.

My mom saved a lot of my toys from when I was little and it's so fun to see my kids playing with them!

A little front porch swinging with Grandmommy. The doll was my mom's when she was little.  Harper loves carrying Judy around when we are in Paris.

Loves being outside

Another project with Papa was washing the cars

Mama was able to come up to Paris for the day also.  I loved having so many generations under one roof.  Praise the Lord for good health and family.
