Beautiful day for some baseball

Jeff's team played in a tournament the past few days. It was beautiful weather so I invited several girl friends and their kiddos to join us at the game this morning. We had 12 kids under the age of 3. I think that was more toddlers than CHS has seen at a game before!  The kids had a great time running around and "watching" the game.

After the game, the kids had fun running around the field and then Jeff loaded them up in the gator and drove them around the field.  All of the boys loved it!!

Sometimes while I'm trying to fix dinner I'll put her in the high chair and let her play with playdoh.  As you can see below I've given up trying to keep all of the colors separated.

She got really frustrated when she couldn't get the lid on this container.....hmmmm I wonder why?

Dress up & Bed Head

Harper enjoys playing dress up with her tutu.  She got dressed this morning and then almost immediately walked out with this over her clothes. 

Of course she had to take care of her baby dolls this morning.  She takes them for walks and feeds them breakfast after she eats. I love watching her imagination at work.

My friend, Sarah, made this tutu for Harper's first birthday!  Good thing it has a stretchy waist band.

I know that this is only the beginning of many more hours spent playing dress up!

We just pulled the exersaucer out of the attic and Brody seems to like it.

Pig Tails

Harper's hair is getting longer and it's "fun" to try to get her to stand still long enough to fix it.  She thinks it is cool to have pig tails so sometimes she will stand still for about 60 seconds.

Arboretum Visit

Saturday morning my parents and sister, Rebekah, were in town and we made plans to go to the Dallas Arboretum for the morning. The day started off a little chilly and dreary but it warmed up pretty quickly.  We had a nice time walking around the gardens.  We told Harper we were going to a park - so she kept asking where the slide and swings were.  We changed our lingo to "garden" pretty quick!

They had a pioneer exhibit set up with miniature houses that you could walk through.  Harper enjoyed going from house to house exploring.

This is how we walked through the Arboretum. The stroller carried all of our stuff, Brody wanted to be held, and Harper decided to cling to my leg!
