Daddy's little All Star

Thanks to my friend Joanna, Brody has lots of cute clothes to wear. Her son Pierce is close in age to Harper and she is preggo with Miss Stella who is set to arrive in January. Since I needed boy clothes and she needs girl clothes we just traded!! Thank goodness for hand me downs!!

Copy Cat

I have a little copy cat on my hands.  She carries her baby doll around the house and tries to do whatever I do with Brody with her baby.  Whenever I put Brody in the bouncy seat, Harper thinks that her baby doll needs to be in there too!

Harper found the sling today and tried to carry her baby doll around in it.  It was so cute watching her figure out what to do with it.

It's the little things

After Brody was born when people would bring him a gift they often brought something for the big sister too.  My parents gave Harper this Minnie Mouse when we were in the hospital and she loves it.  She wanted to take Minnie on a walk this morning while she was still in her pajamas.

After being outside for a few minutes she realized that it was chilly so she wanted to go inside and get this hat.  Aunt Rhonda sent this Tech hat to Harper and sent a little one to Brody as well.  She is trying to influence my kids to like Tech by dressing them in Tech apparel.

Cousins

Yesterday, my cousin Brad and his wife Crystal came up to visit and meet Brody.  Their son, Levi, is about 2 months older than Brody. We tried to take a group pic of the kids with Harper in the middle.

So sweet! 

Harper loved Levi.  She walked around all afternoon saying "Levi, Brody, Levi, Brody, etc..." 

I look forward to watching our kids grow up together.

Paci

Brody has not really taken to the paci yet.  I remember that Harper took a paci almost immediately.  Harper is convinced that Brody should have the paci in his mouth anytime he is crying!

"You will take this paci!" 

Don't worry - I stepped in to intervene after this.

Catching Up

I'm catching up from the past week.  Last weekend my family came over to visit and we had a great time.

Meeting Amanda

My life long friend, Amanda, came to meet Brody today. We both grew up in Paris and were born two weeks apart from each other.  She and her family live in Fort Worth so we get to see them occasionally.

Brody slept through most of her visit.
