Meet The Teacher and First Day of School

We made it back just in time for Meet the Teacher night at the kids school. We were thrilled to have Mrs. Courtney again for first grade.  Harper had her when she was in first and we just loved our year with her.  Excited for Brody to grow this year in First.

Harper is in third grade this year!  Mrs. Osborne's son was on the Marcus baseball team so we have that fun connection with her.

Mrs. Mattingly gives the best hugs!

Ready to Launch into this school year.

South bound 35

Jeff had to go back to school a week before the kids and I had to so we packed up and headed South to pay Aunt Carol and Asher a visit.

The kids are really becoming good road trippers.  As long as they have a screen and snacks they are happy.

Pit stop at Baylor to see the bears.

We stopped at my cousin's house in Austin on the way to see Emma and Elizabeth.

6 of the Cutrell Great Grandkids

Carol and my cousin, Michael, with their babies.

Emma and Harper enjoyed crafting together.

The kids and I stayed at the condo out at Canyon Lake. We played putt putt and shuffle board in the morning before heading down to Carol's house.

Walker was sidelined by a putt putt injury.

Swimming with Mimi at Aunt Carol's house.  She had her hands full with all of her grandchildren at once.

They can be sweet to each other when they want to be.

Our trip was cut a little short because little man was feeling his best.  A stop at Buccee's can make everything better though.

Turner Falls Road Trip

We took a few days before Jeff went back to work to get away with just the five of us.  Bill got us a two free nights at the Winstar up in Oklahoma.  The hotel pool was fabulous and the kids loved being in a hotel.

Tuesday we drove up to Turner Falls and we had a blast.  There are mountains to hike, waterfalls to explore and rivers to float.  The water was freezing but the kids loved it!

More pool time at the hotel
