Weekend in Paris

Jeff was headed out of town for a week so the kids and I packed up and headed to Paris.
This view in the mornings never gets old.

Reading by the fire pit because we actually had a coolish morning.

My attempt at becoming a reader

Aunt Rebekah brought her dogs up for the weekend

Thankful for our time that we get to spend at Papa & Mimi's house.

Galactic Starveyors VBS

We just finished a fun and exhausting week of Vacation Bible School at our church. The theme was Galactic Starveyors so everything was out of this world.

Mrs. Mattingly, the best Principal ever, snuck in and found our Kinder friends from MCA.

I taught a high energy group of Kindergarten friends.

During our missions rotation we got to work on Operation Christmas Child boxes.

Park, Brody & Owen

I had fun working with my middle man all week.

Father's Day Weekend

Harper is playing volleyball for the first time ever with a group of school friends. It's fun to watch her learn a new sport.

I'm going to be the coordinator for my Moms Group at my church for this next school year.  The Steering Team all slipped away for 24 hours to have a planning retreat.  Love this ladies and excited to serve beside them.

Sunday morning the kids cooked Jeff breakfast in bed because it was Father's Day.

Sunday evening we met a few families up at the new splash pad in Highland Village and let the kids play.

Happy Father's Day!

Baseball Camp Week 1

Every summer I help Jeff put on a few Marcus HS Baseball Camps.  We (I) spend most of the spring prepping and marketing for our camps.  Once they arrive we get the whole family involved.  Brody usually participates in camp and Harper likes to help in the concessions stands.
Brody usually ate his breakfast in the concession stands before he headed out on to the field.

Middle school campers all crammed in the only bit of shade at the field.

Brody had several friends from his baseball team participate and they were all in the same group.

Brody and his fav player, Jimmy Glowenke.

Ice cream sandwiches for all because we survived the first week of camp!

Only Child for the Week

Papa and Mimi took Harper & Brody for a little road trip / vacation to Branson.  They enjoyed seeing shows and going to Silver Dollar City.

My dad is such a trooper and rode all of the water rides with the kids!

While the big kids were gone, Walker got to be an only child for the week.
We ate out a little more than usual.

Played with cousins.

Played with friends.

Walker helped us do our concession stand run for baseball camp.

He got to have a few playdates at friends houses.

A fun week for all!
