FMYSA Night at the Ballpark

Jeff hosted the Flower Mound Youth Sports Association plaers at one of his Marcus Baseball games.  Brody plays for an FMYSA team so he loved having a bunch of his teammates at the game. The little leaguers were in heaven with all of the big high school players.

Getting autographs

They let the little guys come out on the field during the team announcements and the National Anthem. Walker hasn't started playing baseball yet but I put him in Brody's old uniform and they looked so cute.

Running on the field after the game is the kids favorite part.

Busy Weekend - Baseball, Gardening and a Date Night

Tuesday and Fridays are game days for Jeff.  We were all wearing our Back The Pack shirts on this particular Friday.
Friday was an early release for the kids so I took Harper and Emerson to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie.  It was so good and I think that I might have enjoyed it more than them.
Friday night my parents and Rex & Rebekah all came to the game.

Jeff's childhood friend, Nathan, coaches for Lewsiville HS.  Nathan was in our wedding.  Now he and Jeff are both coaching at their alma maters.

Saturday morning Brody had a baseball game.
He had a big cheering section all there.

Saturday afternoon Mimi helped the kids get the garden ready to plant some veggies in
Saturday night Jeff and I slipped away for date night.  We went to eat dinner at Hula Hut overlooking Lake Lewisville then headed for coffee at The Perc where they had live music playing.

Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon

Jeff and I signed up to run the Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon.  On Saturday afternoon, we headed to Dallas to pick up our race packets at the expo.
After leaving the convention center, we headed over to Trinity Groves for dinner and dessert.  Walker's favorite was the Cake Bar where he picked out banana pudding AND a cookie.
The weather was warm on race morning.  Bill stayed with the kids so Jeff and I could leave early for the race.

Lined up in corral #2 waiting to start

It wasn't our fastest race but at least we finished.

Spring Break Trip to Meet Baby Asher

My sister had her baby on March 2nd.  We couldn't wait to get to San Antonio to meet baby Asher. Jeff had baseball during Spring Break so he couldn't make the trip with us.  So I packed up everyone and made a solo road trip to San Antonio.
I took the big kids to Fiesta Texas on Friday.  We were able to use our season passes down at that park also.
My kids were very fascinated with Asher.

We went to their community park for the kids to run and play.

We stayed in a hotel close to Carol's house.  It had an indoor pool so the kids had fun swimming on afternoon.
Trying the famous 3 lb. cinnamon roll from Lulu's cafe.

One hotel room by myself with these three rascals was a bit challenging.
More snuggles before packing up and leaving.
We made a pit stop at Baylor on the way home to see the bears.
