On the Job Injury

On September 21st, Jeff got hit by a 90 mph fast ball coming out of the pitching machine at practice. He called around 3:30 to tell me that he was heading to the ER.  Dr. confirmed that it was a broken hand.

Later that week we headed to the orthopedic surgeon to get a hard cast.

After 4 weeks in an uncomfortable cast he got it off.

Another TBall Season

Brody played a fun season of TBall this fall with the same little team that he played with last year.  He is getting the hang of the game and it's fun to watch him play.
Siblings make the best cheerleaders.
Little brother always looking on and not too far behind him.
His best buddy Dylan.
Brody got to go to a Texas Rangers baseball game with his friend Carter.  They had a blast.
The next night Jeff and I went with a group of friends to the Rangers game and got to sit in a suite.

Fall Days

School has started and we are trying to get into some sort of routine. On pretty days, we stop by Jeff's field on our way home from school so he can see the kids.

Brody had fun practicing with the big boys one afternoon.

Walker is adjusting to having his playmates gone during the day.  We have spent lots of time at the park, playing dress up and with his little friends.

I treasure these little moments throughout the busy days.

Visit with Mama Cutrell & Jay's Birthday

On Labor Day we all left Paris and headed to Sulphur Springs to see Mama Cutrell then went on to Garland for Jay Cutrell's first birthday party.

All the Cutrell women and Jay.

Brody & Levi had a blast swimming together.

Labor Day Weekend in Paris

I love having a long weekend just 2 weeks into school.  We all went up to Paris for the weekend to relax.  Both of my sisters came so we had the whole crew.
My sisters!
Friday night, mom got a babysitter at her house so we could enjoy a nice meal out without the kids interrupting our conversation.

Rebekah brought us fun gifts back from her trip around the world.  I love the floral shirt that she brought back from Vietnam.
She brought the boys back "karate man" costumes from Vietnam also.
We celebrated all of the birthdays that Rebekah missed while she was gone for 6 months.
You do the math.  Dad was 65,Rebekah 26, Harper 8 and Grandaddy 82. Multipurpose cake.
Mom pulled out her chocolate fountain
More poll time
Fishing with Grandaddy

We love going to Paris and just relaxing with family.
