Baseball Camp Week

Last week Brody did baseball camp with his buddy Owen.  It was a hot week but they had fun at Jeff's camp.

Mimi was here all week to keep up with Harper & Walker while Brody ad I were at camp. She took them to see David Chicken at our church.  They managed to get on stage during the performance.

7-11-16 was Free Slurpee Day at 7-11.  Walker wasn't so sure about his Sour Patch Kids flavor.

Tuesday night we participated in the family yoga night at the YMCA.

Was fun doing Yoga along side of Harper and Jeff.

Just a few of the kids who participated with Kylie

Wednesday was Chick Fila Day so we dressed up like cows (recycled "costumes" from last year) and headed to CFA to get our free dinner.  Thankfully they accepted us through the drive through so we didn't have to brave the crowds inside.

This one loves being outside - even when it's 100 degrees.

Our Saturday

Harper got a bike upgrade so we were able to go out for a ride together!

She rode 4 miles on our first adventure.

Way to go sis!

Then we were on to cheer on Brody in his basketball game. Not sure if the coach wanted them to sit down in the middle of the court or not.

Big sisters supporting little brothers.

Jeff took Harper on a Daddy daughter breakfast date.  I think that she worked up an appetite biking.

Date Your Mate

We have some good family friends who have kids the same age as ours.  Her hubby is a teacher at Marcus with Jeff. We decided to plan some day date / kid swaps.  On Thursday, they kept our 3 kids while Jeff and I escaped for an afternoon and evening of fun. First we took Stand Up Paddle Boarding lessons at Lake Lewisville.  It was a really windy day but we conquered the choppy water and had a blast.

Next we headed to Denton for a yummy dinner at LSA Burgers then headed next door for ice cream at Beth Marie's.

Summer Days

This week was kind of low key.  Nothing big planned but enjoyed playing with friends.

Our church put on a FOAM party for the kids.  The big kids had a blast.

When did she get so big?

Big sis got a bike upgrade and now I can't run fast enough while pushing the boys to keep up with her.

Library time with friends

Fireworks!

On Sunday night, my parents church set up at the civic center pavilion with food and games before the fireworks.

Walker enjoyed the home made ice cream

What a fun 4th of July weekend with family.
