Last week of April

The last week of April included some fun leading up to my birthday weekend. 

Dinner at the Country Club with friends. 

Brody had purple day at school so this is the best we managed to do. 

Morning bike rides with my middle. 

All geared up and ready to play soccer. 

Girl's Night out at Mi Cocina for my birthday.  

Jeff and I slipped away for a marriage event at our church. 

Snow Cones for the Win

After being at the ball park until after 10 p.m. on Friday night, we woke up for an early TBall game.  Then headed back to Jeff's field for another Marcus game. Picnic lunches and lots of snacks are what got us through.



 

He was very content with his super man and spider man. 

Mimi helped them find the only 5 feet of shade in the whole ball park.  It was hot!

Last District Game

Baseball season wrapped up with another long weekend of 2 Marcus games and a t-ball game.
Always come prepared with their toys.

One of the other coaches families came to the game so the kids had some other kids to play with.

The Miller's came out to the game as well.  They must have been good luck because we beat cross town rival Flower Mound. 

Miss Campbell wasn't a fan of all of my screaming.

Crazy Texas Weather and the Caveman Triathlon

After having a gorgeous Friday and Saturday, the weather took a turn for the worst on Sunday morning.  I was racing in the Caveman Triathlon here in Flower Mound.  I pulled out of our driveway that morning about 5:30 a.m. and it just started pouring down rain.   I've done a lot of races but never one in the pouring rain.  No PR's were set but at least I finished.


After I got home from the race, the rain had let up a little bit.  The kids wanted to go on a walk in their rain boots.  

We made it to the wildflower field near our house and they had fun walking through it.  

Then later that evening the weather was completely cleared off and we went out for another walk after dinner.  

This was gave up about half way around the block and decided to just sit down to protest me not bringing a stroller.  

Full Weekend of Baseball

We had another FULL weekend of baseball.  The weather was nice and all of the grandparents were in town so we all went to Jeff's game on Friday night.  I of course came prepared with lots of snacks and entertainment (ipads).






After a late night out at Jeff's game, we all got up for an early Saturday TBall game for Brody.  

He had a big cheering section.
