The DoSeum in San Antonio

Friday we visited The DoSeum with Aunt Carol.  It was another awesome Children's museum that the kids loved!  This one was bigger than Austin's and had a great outdoor water component.

We took a break to skype with Rebekah who is in Greece right now.  Do you notice mom, Carol and I all squished into the pic?

The kids loved the outdoor water park for sure. Too bad I didn't bring a change of clothes because they were drenched!

A Little Rain Won't Stop Us

Thursday we woke up and guess what...it was still raining.  We decided that we wouldn't let a little rain stop us from having fun.

We headed to the clubhouse for a little ping pong on the porch and games inside.

Once the indoor pool opened we were the first ones there.

I'm a little outnumbered.

After lunch I took the big kids "hiking" by the lake.

It sprinkled on us a little bit but we kept going.

After our hiking adventure, we packed up and headed to Aunt Carol's house.

Spring Road Trip to San Antonio

It rained pretty much all of Spring Break.  Mom and I took the kids to San Antonio to see Andrew & Carol for a few days. Jeff was supposed to have 2 district games and a tournament so he had to stay home. We had to make a pit stop and lunch stop at Buc-ee's on the way.

It was pouring down rain the entire drive.

They ate their lunch on the road.

Unfortunately, about 15 minutes after we left Buc-ee's the traffic on I35 just stopped.....for 3.5 hours we didn't really move! Mom was knitting while "driving."

We made plans to stop at the Thinkery in Austin to help break up the trip.  It was a fun children's museum that the kids loved exploring.

Everything was very hands on.

The big kids got to make ravioli filled with carrots.

Giant Light Bright Room

We left downtown Austin after traffic and made our way to the condo at Canyon Lake.
