He's Got Game

The last day of school before Christmas break Marcus had a staff vs. Senior basketball game.  Jeff played this year and Harper and I went to cheer him on.  He played basketball for Marcus while he was in High School.  Was fun watching him play.

Preschool Christmas Program

Jeff has his baseball team dress up for theme days every week. This week was a Star Wars theme day and one of his players made this pretty amazing Storm Trooper costume.  It had eye holes and he actually played in the outfield dressed in it.

It was Jeff's birthday and the kids delivered cookies to all of the players during practice.

My boys confiscated the guns and other paraphernalia that the players left in the dugout.

We then made a Market Street run to get Jeff's birthday cake. The boys loved driving the car grocery store cart.

The boys had their Christmas Program at preschool and it was so cute.

Texas Motor Speedway Parade of Lights

We ventured over to Texas Motor Speedway to drive through the Parade of Lights with Grandad Sherman.

Olaf was at the end of the drive

They had all of the race cars set out to look at.

Christmas Capital of Texas

Saturday evening we drove down to Grapevine with friends.  The have declared themselves the Christmas Capital of Texas. The downtown area was decked out with lots of cool displays and lights.

Sad that this one is blurry but it's Harper and Brody!

Dec Week 2

The afternoons have been lovely weather for December and the kids have enjoyed playing outside after school.

Harper had an art show at school last week. Here is her "Gumball Frenzy" painting.

Saturday night we took the kids to see Truthical a musical that Gateway Church put on.  Rhonda and her kids met us there and the kids all loved the show!

All the cousins!
