First Family Fall Festival

Our church always put on a fantastic Fall Festival the week before Halloween.  It stopped raining just in time for the big event.

Their favorite is always crawling around in the fire truck.

The 2 boys were very interested in the youth choir and decided to just jump right in with them.

Double Trouble Race

Harper has been training hard this semester with her cross country team.  The team trains 4 nights per week and then on Saturday's when there aren't races.  We try to make at least 3 nights per week. She is really learning a lot and improving on her form and speed. The first team race that she participated in was the Double Trouble in Grapevine. It was a rainy and chilly morning.  She ran the 2K distance and did great.  Despite the yucky weather, every time I saw her she had a smile on her face.

Getting ready to start.

Pre race stretching with one of the coaches.

Waiting near the finish line
Here she comes

She rocked it!

Brody's Superhero Party

My middle man turned 5 on Oct. 18th! He is the perfect combo of sweet, sincere, gentle and crazy, loud, and fun. He is smart, methodical, and for the most part a rule follower. We had a fun super hero party at the park on his actual birthday to celebrate Brody.

Rainy Day Fun

I feel like it has rained a lot lately.  Those rainy days are a little extra exhausting because of all of the rain paraphenila that the kids think they need.  Rain boots and umbrellas times 3.

School pick up is extra fun in the rain!

I enjoy having friends over for my kids to play with.  This particular afternoon I had a full (and loud) van!

Yes he taped the balloons to his nose.

After the crazy day, Jeff and I enjoyed a date night out thanks to my friend Karyn who kept all of our kids.
