End of T Ball Season

After the triathlon in Keller, we hustled back to Flower Mound for Brody's last tball game.  He had such a fun season learning the game.  Kind of sad that it's already over.

After the game, we had a little impromptu end of season party at the park next to the fields.  Pizza and cupcakes so these kiddos were happy!

They had a little trophy presentation where the coach talked about each kid. Coach Joby was so encouraging all season.

Was fun to have Papa and Aunt Carol there also.

Monster Kids Triathlon

The kids participated in the Monster Kids Triathlon in Keller.  This was Harper's second year in a row to race this one but Brody's first race ever!  They had a blast and were all smiles on the course.  Was so fun to see them enjoying a sport that was such a big part of our lives for so long.  Unfortunately, the sport of triathlon has taken a back seat for us for now.
The day started out with very early wake up calls for everyone.  We drove over to Keller and my mom and sister met us there to help cheer on the kids.
Body Marking was first order of business

We can always count on Mimi to help with hair duty!

Getting all set up in Transition

They are ready to rock n roll!

There were over 350 kids doing the race.

I lined the kids up next to each other so they would be in the same swim heat.

It was a little chilly outside especially once they were wet.  Jeff and I could be in transition with them.  I helped Harper and Jeff helped Brody.

Heading out of T1 onto the bike course.

Best cheerleaders around! And Aunt Carol who was on camera duty.

Harper heading out of T2 onto the run course.

And there goes Brody - Chasing down big sis!

Harper smoked the run course!  All of this cross country running came in handy!

We headed over to cheer on Brody as he finished the run course.

All SMILES!

Go Brody Go!!

Harper told Brody that he would get a donut at the end of the race as a prize.  So after each element he asked me if he earned his donut yet! I kept saying "not yet - buddy - keep going."  He was so excited to finally get it at the end.  Priorities first.

Way to go Harper and Brody!
